Welcome — I’m glad you’re here!
I am a licensed professional counselor with over a decade of experience specializing in nature-informed therapy and helping individuals transform grief into growth. I believe every person is inherently precious and worthy of deep care. I would consider it a privilege to walk alongside you, offering support and perspective in the internal and external challenges that lead you to pursue therapy at this time.
Hi, my name is Greg and I provide thoughtful, individualized psychotherapy and medication management rooted in trust, clinical experience, and genuine human connection. My approach is intentional and collaborative—taking the time to understand each person’s history, goals, and needs before making or adjusting treatment decisions. I support care through both in-office and telehealth visits and serve as a resource by connecting patients to trusted mental health providers when additional support is needed. Above all, I believe mental health is a lifelong pursuit and would love to be a part of your journey.

My Philosophy On Healing
” I will not rescue you.
For you are not powerless.
I will not fix you.
For you are not broken.
I will not heal you.
For I see you, in your wholeness.
I will walk with you through the darkness as you remember your light.”
-Sheree Bliss Tilsley.

Headway makes it easier to find support for overcoming addiction — from finding the right provider, to understanding costs, to scheduling with ease.
Finding the right addiction therapist in Nashville starts with clarifying the type of support you need. If you're looking for help with substance use, alcohol use, or a behavioral addiction, a licensed therapist or psychiatrist with training in addiction can work with you on approaches like cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, or dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). Some providers also offer medication management alongside talk therapy, which can be especially relevant for substance use concerns.
Nashville has a wide range of mental health providers, from East Nashville to Bellevue to surrounding areas like Franklin and Murfreesboro. When comparing providers, consider their specialty experience, whether they offer virtual or in-person sessions, and how their approach aligns with your goals. Reading a provider's bio before booking can help you understand their style and decide if they're a good match.
Addiction therapy in Nashville can be costly out of pocket, but using in-network insurance coverage is one of the most reliable ways to reduce what you pay per session. On Headway, you can enter your insurance information to see estimated session costs before you book — and many patients pay as low as $0 per visit. Nationally, Headway partners with over 100 insurance plans. Enter your insurance details on Headway to confirm what coverage is available in Nashville and to see your estimated costs.
