Hi, I’m a licensed professional counselor and the founder of Transformed Therapy in Houston, TX. Since 2008, I’ve been walking alongside individuals, and families as they navigate anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, spiritual concerns, and major life transitions. While I work with men and women, as well as children and teens, a large part of my work is focused on helping men who are facing internal battles—feeling stuck, burned out, disconnected, or unsure of how to lead well in their families, careers, and personal lives.

Whether you're carrying stress silently, dealing with anger or shame, questioning your purpose, or struggling to be the individual you want to be, I provide a place where you can be honest, real, and heard. My approach is practical, faith-centered, and grounded in personal accountability, growth, and grace.

Before launching Transformed Therapy, I served as Director at Memorial Christian Counseling Center and CEO at Integrative Mental Health Solutions, leading crisis response teams across Houston. I also spent 11 years in full-time ministry as a youth and outreach minister, which deeply shaped my commitment to soul care and spiritual restoration.

I hold a Master of Education in Counseling from the University of North Texas and a BA in Philosophy from UT Arlington. When I’m not in session, I’m spending time outdoors with my wife and our five kids—camping, fishing, gardening, or simply enjoying God's creation.

If you're ready to step into change—whether it’s for your mental health, your marriage, your faith, or your identity—I’d be honored to walk with you.

My primary goal is to provide a helping hand to clients in need. Clients will find that I am able to listen and provide helpful strategies to help navigate through whatever journey they find themselves on. Whether it be a young child, adolescent, or adult, I am able to keep them at the center of the therapeutic process and help them discover peace and purpose.

I graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Houston and obtained a Masters of Education in Counselor Education from the University of St. Thomas. I was an educator for 13 years including 5 as a school counselor/administrator.

As a school counselor, I have assisted students with disabilities, trauma, mood and personality disorders. I have also worked with parents who find themselves in a cycle that they feel cannot be broken. My intention is to help clients identify hurts, hang-ups, and habits that keep them from living to their full potential and work through them.

I am EMDR trained and provide trauma informed care. I have also utilized Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and various interventions from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy to treat clients with anxiety, depression, and self-harming behaviors.

Whatever it is you are facing, I am willing to listen and provide sound care. As a fellow human, I understand the needs that can arise from trauma, hurt, and misunderstanding. If you are in need of an ear to hear and a heart to care, please contact me. I am here to help.

Find an expert who truly understands ADHD

Headway helps you stay on track with expert-guided support for ADHD — from finding the right therapist or psychiatrist, to understanding costs, to scheduling with ease.

Factors to Consider When Choosing a Therapist in Pasadena

Finding the right ADHD provider in Pasadena, TX starts with understanding the type of care you need. Therapists who specialize in ADHD can help with focus, time management, and building coping strategies through approaches like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). Psychiatrists can evaluate whether medication management is appropriate and provide ongoing prescribing. Some people benefit from working with both a therapist and a psychiatrist.

When comparing providers, look for licensed professionals — such as an LPC, LCSW, psychologist, or psychiatrist — with specific experience treating ADHD in adults, children, or both. Reading a provider's bio can give you a sense of their approach and whether they may be a good fit. A free phone consultation is another way to gauge compatibility before committing to a session.

ADHD care in Pasadena, TX can be expensive without insurance, but affordable options exist when you use in-network coverage. On Headway, you can enter your insurance details to see estimated session costs upfront, and your out-of-pocket expense may be as low as $0 per session, though costs may vary based on your location and exact insurance coverage. Nationally, Headway partners with over 100 insurance plans, making it easier to find an ADHD specialist who fits both your clinical needs and your budget.
