If you're looking for an out of the ordinary therapist, welcome to my "office"! I was born and raised in Springfield Massachusetts before moving to east Tennessee in 2011 and then northeast Vermont in 2021. So I understand "transplant loneliness" quite well in addition to other city to rural living dilemmas. I have a wide array of lived experience in addition to my education and am able to bring it all to the table to better assist you on your journey. I am only human and I do not know more about you than you, but we can work together to find the solutions to the issues that trouble you. I am here to dig out the answers you seek from within. Side note: I have experience with various types of relationships within the internet/gaming/pop culture/geek/nerd/neurodiverse/LGBTQ/spiritual and alternative communities as well cultural diversity.
My name is J.J. Mull -- I'm a clinical social worker and therapist in private practice. I trained and Smith College School for Social Work and received advanced training in psychoanalytic treatment at Cambridge Health Alliance through Harvard Department of Psychiatry. Since finishing my training, I have worked in a wide range of settings with people struggling with anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts, substance use disorders, significant trauma, and many other issues. In addition to my clinical work, I am a writer, poet, and researcher and have been a professor in the Masters in Social Work program at Smith College for 4 years.
I’m Maureen Roianov, a clinical social worker with 28 years of experience supporting adolescents and adults through trauma, anxiety, depression, and other mood challenges. I work with clients in both New Hampshire and Vermont, offering a calm, grounded space where you can feel seen, heard, and safe enough to explore what hurts and what’s possible. Together, we’ll not only focus on easing your immediate suffering, but also on creating meaningful, lasting change in your life.
I've been in practice for thirty years, working with clients of all ages. I have Master's Degrees in Counseling and Religious Studies, with concentrations in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, DBT, EMDR and Expressive Therapies.
