I’m a Board-Certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and proud U.S. Army veteran committed to helping adults find balance and healing. I provide evidence-based, compassionate care for anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress-related conditions. My goal is to create a calm, respectful environment where every client—veteran or civilian—feels seen, supported, and understood. I combine medication management with practical coping strategies and therapy-informed guidance to promote lasting well-being.

Tiffany Schillaci graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Criminal Justice as well as a Master's in Social Work from Florida Atlantic University. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with the State of Florida. Ms. Schillaci has a range of experience working with clients from diverse groups and providing clinical interventions to best meet the individual needs of each client. She has many years of experience working with the homeless population, clients with co-occurring mental health and substance abuse disorders as well as implementing crisis intervention modalities. Ms. Schillaci began her career as a Behavioral Health Technician and also provided case management services for a non-profit organization that specializes in special immunology, substance abuse, trauma, and mental health services.

I am an experienced and caring therapist with Ph.D. and LCSW certification. I view therapy as a partnership between client and therapist. I work with individuals with anxiety, depression, trauma, low self-esteem, and difficulties with interpersonal relationships. Additionally, I have broad expertise in emotionally focused couples therapy, sex therapy and family therapy. I have helped clients from many different cultural backgrounds.

I support mutual respect and open communication in therapy. I begin by listening and understanding your situation. Together we work on a personalized treatment plan shaped to reach your goals.

You may feel emotionally exhausted, stuck in patterns that no longer serve you, or uncertain about how to move forward. You don't have to carry those struggles alone, and meaningful change is possible. I partner with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, cultural and ethnic issues, women's issues, and trauma so they can build confidence, strengthen relationships, and create a greater sense of balance and emotional wellbeing. Working with adolescents and adults in both English and Spanish, I strive to create a welcoming, culturally responsive environment where you feel understood, respected, and empowered to grow.

It's difficult making the first phone call, booking an appointment and admitting you need help. Whether it's depression, anxiety, a mood disorder or trauma, it's frightening to admit that everything isn't how you want it to be and you don't have all the answers. If you're experiencing sadness, anxiety, mood swings, intrusive thoughts or images, flash backs, numbness or insomnia, there is hope and there is help. I'm going to teach you skills to manage you symptoms, emotions and relationships more effectively.

I've spent over 21 years helping people navigate some of life's toughest situations — substance use, trauma, domestic violence, anger, and the kind of challenges that make it hard to see a way forward. I spent the last decade working in court-ordered programs with clients who didn't choose to be in therapy, and I got them to stay. First thing I tell every client: I am your advocate. I'm real, I'm relatable, and yes, I will make you laugh! I'm a seasoned Black woman from New York City, and my NYC energy definitely comes through. Clients describe me as someone who can break through that wall of resistance many people walk in with and I'm proud of that.
