I work with mothers who are overwhelmed, burnt-out, or tired of juggling it all. For some, the intensity of motherhood brings up difficult emotions or unprocessed parts of their past. Others feel lost under the burden of care-taking and managing the mental load. With compassion and skill, we’ll tend to the parts of you that have been neglected. We’ll develop strategies for prioritizing your needs. We’ll make space for your brilliant light to shine once again!
I listen, provide empathy in a way to make you feel empowered without judgement or negativity.

My name is Amy Plettner and I have 7 years professional experience. I received my masters degree in social work from the University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee.
I am a licensed therapist in Michigan and a certified alcohol and drug abuse counselor with ten years of experience — and the road that shaped me as a clinician runs through two very specific places. For three years, I worked at the VA, where I developed a deep, hands-on understanding of trauma in its most complex and layered forms. For five years after that, I worked at Hope Network, an outpatient program serving individuals with limited access to resources, where I learned something that has stayed with me ever since: that genuine clinical expertise, offered with real intention, can change the trajectory of someone's life — even when the odds are stacked against them. I specialize in substance use and addiction, trauma, depression, anxiety, and the lasting impact of unhealthy relationships. My work is grounded in CBT and driven by a belief that every person — regardless of their circumstances — has the capacity to become more confident, more grounded, and more fully themselves.
Greetings!
I'm Roxana Scott. I have 12 years of experience supporting adults and families through the challenges of Complex Trauma. With an MS in Mental Health Counseling and a background in Community Service, I offer a compassionate, holistic approach to therapy. My goal is to help you process the past so you can show up fully in the present."
