Hi, I’m Danielle, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I’m passionate about helping people find healing, balance, and growth through life’s challenges.
I earned my Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) from Stockton University in 2016 and went on to complete my Master of Social Work (MSW) at Fordham University’s Advanced Standing Clinical Track in 2017. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of working with a wide range of individuals and families across many settings including hospice care, services for the unhoused population, psychiatric hospitals, and, in the most recent years, in public schools as part of the Child Study Team writing IEPs and providing counseling.
These experiences have given me a deep understanding of how emotional, environmental, and social factors impact well-being. In my practice, I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and supported. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to each person’s unique story and goals.
Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, or life transitions, I’m here to work alongside you as you build resilience and rediscover your sense of self.
Hi! I am a mental health counselor who has been in the field in various roles for over 10 years! I currently see clients who range from 5 years old to 85 years old and work with a range of mental health issues. I have worked in a number of settings including schools, nonprofit programs and community mental health agencies. I love helping others protect their peace and develop improved self-esteem.
Healing is a process of reconnecting with your inner wisdom, resilience, and sense of self. As an EMDR therapist, I support adults navigating trauma, anxiety, and self-esteem through a holistic approach that honors the mind, body, and spirit. I identify as spiritual but not religious, and this perspective meaningfully informs my work. I hold space for intuition, personal meaning, and the deeper, less tangible aspects of healing that often go beyond words. EMDR therapy helps resolve root causes of distress, supporting nervous system regulation and relief from long-held emotional burdens. Reiki, energy perspectives, and symbolic frameworks (like tarot and archetypes) shape how I understand patterns and inner guidance but are not a substitute for psychotherapy.
**Openings currently for Saturdays starting May 2026

I specialize and am trained in addressing concerns of anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use. I use Motivational Interviewing to meet you where you are in your journey while pulling skills from CBT & DBT to help you in your day-to-day life. Modalities like psychodynamic are used to make connections to your past and to your family of origin in order to deepen your insight into unhelpful patterns and thinking styles.
Sometimes the only way out is through. I am here to walk through the mud with you.
I’m someone who’s easy to talk to—warm, open, and without judgment. Over the years, I’ve walked alongside individuals, couples, and families as they’ve faced a wide range of challenges, and it’s been an honor to hold space for their stories. I deeply consider how our pasts—our upbringing, our relationships, our support systems—shape the way we experience the world and ourselves. My approach is both grounded and practical, yet gently focused on finding meaningful, real-life solutions. I believe healing happens not just through insight, but through connection, presence, and hope.

Headway makes it easy to find support for your mental health — from finding the right provider, to understanding costs, to scheduling with ease.
Finding a therapist in New Jersey starts with getting clear on what you're looking for. Think about the concerns you want to address — whether that's anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, grief, or something else — and whether you'd prefer virtual sessions or in-person visits. New Jersey is home to a wide range of licensed providers, including licensed professional counselors (LPCs), licensed clinical social workers (LCSWs), psychologists, and psychiatrists, each with different training and areas of focus.
With so many providers practicing across the state, narrowing your options can take time. Reading a provider's bio is one of the most useful steps you can take. Look for details about their approach, the populations they work with, and what a session with them looks like. A free phone consultation, when available, can also help you decide if a provider feels like the right match before you commit.
Therapy in New Jersey can be expensive out of pocket, but using your in-network insurance benefits is one of the most reliable ways to bring costs down. On Headway, you can enter your insurance details to see estimated session costs before you book. Nationally, Headway partners with over 100 insurance plans, and many patients pay as low as $0 per session depending on their coverage and location.
