I earned my undergraduate degree from The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) and my Master’s degree from St. Edward’s University in Austin. Throughout my career, I have gained extensive experience working with a diverse range of populations and presenting concerns. My professional background includes providing treatment to adults with sexual behavior issues who have been court-ordered or mandated by state and county agencies to participate in services. I have also worked extensively with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, substance use disorders, and other complex life challenges. In addition, I have provided services to children in foster care and youth identified as at risk, helping them navigate emotional, behavioral, and environmental difficulties. My training and experience include working with both children and adults who have experienced trauma, utilizing evidence-based approaches to support healing, resilience, and long-term well-being.
Hi, I’m Lizz Dyson (she/her), I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Texas. I earned my Master’s in Social Work from Texas State University and have been practicing since 2021. I’ve worked in school-based, healthcare, and community settings, with a focus on equity, access, and supporting individuals through life’s transitions.
I work with pre-teens, teens, young adults, and adults navigating challenges like anxiety, stress, identity exploration, and major life changes.
I am a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT) with over a decade of experience supporting adults, children, teens, and couples. I currently specialize in working with adult individuals who are seeking counseling to address issues such as anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief and loss, stress management and relationship issues.
I earned a Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have experience working with adults who are struggling with trauma and grief.
