Welcome potential clients! I'm a licensed mental health counselor, with experience with an experience working with a spectrum of clients. My internship was spent at a state psychiatric hospital. I completed my post-graduate hours providing services to clients on parole and probation. I opened my private practice in 2022, and work with clients located in TX and WA. I do my best work with men's issues and clients who like a transparent and honest therapist.

I'm a seasoned dually licensed therapist with over 10 years of clinical experience. I have worked with individuals who specifically suffer from addiction, borderline personality disorder, relationship issues, trauma, depression, anxiety, previously incarcerated and those in crisis. Iv also observed and supervised individuals in gaining their hours for licensure as well.

I am a lifelong behavioral health practitioner with 35 years of experience providing counseling services to a large cross section of clients including veterans, first responders, athletes, and individuals learning to manage symptoms associated with post traumatic stress, chronic pain, chronic conditions, depression, anxiety, and phase of life transitions. I am a certified Cognitive Behavioral Therapist and licensed to treat co-occurring disorders in another state.

My name is Dr. Christine Gomes and I have been licensed as a clinical psychologist for the past 9.5 years. I received my doctoral degree from Rosemead School of Psychology in Los Angeles County, California. While I was in training, I worked with a wide variety of clients in different settings. In recent years, I have focused heavily on trauma-focused therapy techniques.

I am passionate about health and wellbeing. I hope to be able to help people thrive. I work in a collaborative way with clients to identify the root of their problems, find creative solutions, and address their questions and concerns along the way. I aim to provide individualized care, not just follow a standard protocol. I have extensive experience as a diagnostician/prescriber in internal medicine, family practice, women's health, endocrine conditions, including hormone management and gender affirming care. I am passionate about mental health care and have experience providing treatment for many conditions, including mood, attention, and thought disorders. I have some experience working with children and families, and extensive experience working with adolescents, adults, and older adults.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Doctorate in Social Work, and I bring both clinical expertise and real life understanding into the therapy space. My professional background includes years of direct clinical practice as well as leadership roles in complex, high stress systems, including serving as a Mental Health Director. These experiences have shaped my ability to support individuals who are navigating pressure, responsibility, and emotional overwhelm while still being expected to function at a high level.

I work best with clients who are strong on the outside but struggling internally. Many of the people I support are women, mothers, professionals, caregivers, and helpers who are used to showing up for others while neglecting their own emotional needs. I have a particular passion for working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, imposter syndrome, burnout, life transitions, relationship stress, identity concerns, and trauma related to past or ongoing stressors.

Therapy with me is not about having all the answers. It is about learning how to trust yourself, set healthy boundaries, and show up for your life with more compassion and confidence.
