Welcome, I'm Britney Jackson, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) dedicated to helping adolescents and adults achieve better mental health through compassionate, evidence-based care. I understand that seeking help can feel overwhelming, and my goal is to provide a safe, supportive, and judgment-free environment where you feel comfortable sharing your story.
I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, PTSD, trauma-related disorders, mood disorders, stress, insomnia, and other common mental health concerns. Whether you're struggling with persistent worry, low motivation, difficulty focusing, emotional ups and downs, or life transitions, I am committed to helping you find practical solutions that fit your unique needs.
Before becoming a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I spent several years as a registered nurse caring for patients in both inpatient medical and behavioral health settings. These experiences strengthened my ability to recognize complex mental health needs while providing compassionate, patient-centered care. Today, I combine psychiatric evaluations, medication management, psychotherapy, and patient education to help individuals achieve lasting emotional wellness.
My philosophy is simple: every person deserves to feel heard, respected, and empowered. Healing begins with trust, collaboration, and a treatment plan tailored to your goals, not a one-size-fits-all approach.
I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with a DNP (Doctor of Nursing Practice) degree from the University of Massachusetts Global. I have experience working with adolescents and adults in multiple settings facing various complex mental health issues, including OCD, depression, anxiety, ADHD and mood disorders.
My journey into therapy began with a deep curiosity about human resilience and the desire to help others find strength through life’s hardest challenges. During my graduate training, I had the opportunity to work with survivors of trauma. This experience showed me the powerful role therapy can play in recovery and solidified my commitment to supporting others through their healing journeys. I’m continually driven by the fundamental belief that everyone has the potential for positive growth and change. Seeing my clients gain confidence or find peace makes my work incredibly rewarding.
I work with adults who are managing anxiety, life transitions, and those seeking support for self-esteem issues. Whether you’re working through trauma, building coping skills, or exploring your personal goals, I’ll work with you to create a plan for growth that feels empowering and achievable. I best serve those who are ready to unearth the uncomfortable. Those who have felt stuck and just need the tools and a safe space to connect back to themselves. Those who have a desire to intentionally sit with the things that are sticky, so that it can stop ruling their life and they can take the reins. Is this you? This work is hard. If you’re ready to face it in a safe way, I’m the person for you.
