I invite you to dance with these words as I share a bit more about myself! I am a licensed professional counselor, board-certified dance movement therapist, certified movement specialist & educator, certified professional clinical supervisor, and a certified Chi for Two® Embodiment Coach.

I completed my MA in Dance/Movement Therapy & Counseling from Columbia College Chicago, after teaching dance, working with at-risk youth and performing professionally in England and the Republic of Ireland for several years. I have a passion for music, poetry and gardening, cooking, languages and travel. I am in awe of how richly culture enlivens our energetic dances.

I maintain a private psychotherapy practice, provide clinical supervision, and serve as an educator and public speaker. I am an active member of the American Dance Therapy Association Southern Chapter, and the Atlanta dance community.

I am Jesmond Fair, born and raised in rural Alabama and later became an alumnus of The University of Alabama. I completed all my graduate training at UGA and am calling Atlanta home. I am a gay Black Christian cis-gender male. For most moments of the day, I have a random song on repeat in my head. This can be attributed to my background in vocal and instrumental music. I believe in being real. So, clients can expect facial reactions, slang, occasional profanity, laughter, and even tears.

I have over 20 years of experience serving others in some capacity. I am caring, understanding, and dedicated to help you make positive progress in your personal and professional live. I believe who you are makes a difference and you matter.

Counseling is not just a job for me, it's a calling. After an extraordinary career in Human Resources, both domestically and internationally, I've found my true passion in counseling. I'm committed to providing you with the support and guidance you need. I've been a counselor for many years and enjoy a very interactive relationship with my clients.

After spending 12 years working in the legal field, having 3 children, and ensuring my son with special needs had the support he needed to reach his potential, which he did beautifully, I decided to follow my (other) passion. Went back to school in 2016 to earn my Masters in Social Work, which allowed me to follow my dream - helping people find their voice, their identify, their peace, their power and their ability to grow.

If you've had trauma and it seems to hold you back, on top of poor copings skills and you feel a bit lost; you found me. I've listened to my clients and now together we can get to the heart of issues.

I am a master's level, licensed professional counselor (LPC) committed to helping adults overcome adversity. My work focuses on identifying negative mindsets, reprocessing trauma, and spiritual mentoring. I am passionate about sharing hope and joy despite difficult circumstances for adults struggling with anxiety, depression and grief.
