Hello and welcome to comprehensive psychiatric services at my HEALTH and WELLNESS office!

As a General (Adult) and Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist, I am passionate about empowering all ages on their journey towards mental health and well-being.

I completed a residency in General Psychiatry and fellowship in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at Georgia's prestigious medical college, one of the oldest medical schools in the nation. This expert, specialized training has equipped me with the skills and knowledge to understand the unique psychological needs of children, adolescents, and adults.

I am a Board Certified Psychiatrist, and am also a Board Certified Pediatrician (triple-trained in General Pediatrics, General Psychiatry, and Child/Adolescent Psychiatry). I completed pediatrics residency at NYC’s only academic Children’s Hospital in Brooklyn, SUNY Downstate, with additional pediatric and psychiatric clinical internships at Brooklyn’s Maimonides Medical Center. Additionally, I graduated with a Master of Public Health with an Advanced Graduate Certificate in Health Communications from renowned Stony Brook University’s School of Medicine & their Journalism School’s Center for Communicating Science. I graduated medical school with clinical accolades at New York’s oldest osteopathic college, NYIT.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC016639) in the state of Georgia and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (MH22156) in the state of Florida. I've worked in a variety of settings, such as psychiatric hospitals, crisis stabilization units, community agencies and college campuses. My clients have a wide range in age, gender, sexual orientation, faith, education level, ethnicity, and cultural background. In my practice, I like to focus on life transitions, whether it's leaving a job, becoming a parent, or starting college.

I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychologyand bring over 16 years of counseling experience, including more than 10 years as a crisis counselor at a level-one trauma center in downtown Atlanta. I now live in Northeast Georgia, where I enjoy a quieter pace of life with my husband, stepson, and our four beloved fur babies. I work with adolescents and young adults, specializing intrauma, anxiety, depression, and other mood disorders. My goal is to create a safe, collaborative, and supportive space where clients feel understood, empowered, and confident in their healing journey.

I have over 17 years of experience helping adults, teens, and families in crisis. I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia and hold additional certifications as a Master Addictions Counselor and a Certified Professional Counseling Supervisor. I have many specialties, including trauma-informed therapy."
