I’m Amber Slone, LPCC, a licensed professional clinical counselor based in Kentucky and the founder of my private practice. I earned my Master’s in Education from Lindsey Wilson College’s School of Professional Counseling and bring over 15 years of experience in the human services field, including 7 years as a practicing therapist.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked across diverse settings in mental health, child and adolescent services, and addiction treatment. I often work with adolescents and adults, supporting them through life transitions and emotional challenges.
My approach is person-centered, with a blend of CBT and solution-focused strategies to help clients recognize their strengths and move toward lasting change. Above all, I strive to create a space where my clients feel accepted, empowered, and safe to be themselves.
I'm a veteran and therapist who finds peace in the natural world. I believe true growth comes from living your values and making real, experiential change. Whatever the space, I'll be there to encourage your growth with active listening, skill building, and action.

Welcome and nice to meet you. I am a Licensed Clinical Counselor. My approach to therapy is meeting you where you are. Everyone is at a different stage in life. I look forward to working with you and helping you to become the best version of yourself.
Hello, my name is Justin Adekoya. I am a husband, father, and coach. I attended Eastern Kentucky University, where I played football and earned my degree in Social Work. After graduating, I spent some time in the NFL before deciding to hang up my cleats and refocus on my true passion which is helping others overcome challenges related to anxiety, depression, and mindset.
In 2018, I returned to school to earn my Master’s in Social Work from Spalding University and went on to obtain my CSW, followed by my LCSW. Over the past seven years, I’ve had the privilege of working with a diverse range of clients, including veterans, student-athletes from recreational to collegiate levels, adolescents, and teens.
I am passionate about helping clients who feel stuck between their potential and their current mental state, those who have noticed fluctuations in focus, motivation, or confidence and haven’t been able to pinpoint why. Whether you’re a student, athlete, or individual experiencing pressure to perform, struggling with perfectionism, or battling self-doubt while seeking a healthier, more sustainable balance, you are not alone. I’m here to be your sounding board, and together, we can work to get you back on track.
I'm originally from New York City I've had personal and professional relationships with all cultures I believe for a therapist to help a client he must use love
Hi, I’m a therapist who believes healing doesn’t have to feel stiff, awkward, or like you’re sitting in a room being judged by someone holding a clipboard.
My style is warm, down-to-earth, and often sprinkled with humor—because sometimes we need to laugh so we don’t fall apart, and sometimes we just need to laugh while we’re putting ourselves back together.
I specialize in working with people who don’t fit neatly into one diagnostic box—folks with dual diagnoses, complex histories, depression that doesn’t budge easily, and the “I’ve tried therapy before and it didn’t help” crowd. If you’ve been called “a lot,” “too much,” or “hard to treat,” you’re exactly my kind of person.
What therapy with me feels like:
Safe, supportive, and human—not clinical and cold
A place where you can be messy, honest, sarcastic, or quiet
Collaborative, with plenty of gentle challenge when you need it
Rooted in evidence-based strategies, but delivered in a way that feels real and doable
