I am a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with a passion for integrative, whole-person care. By blending the principles of integrative psychiatry with a deep understanding of adult medicine, I am committed to treating the mind and body as a unified system. I believe that true wellness requires dedicated attention to both.
Finding a provider can be challenging, overwhelming, and at times embarrassing. I have been in treatment for over 20 years, which prompted me to want to support other people like me. I am proficient in DBT as these skills have saved my life.
I am a woman in recovery, have been in psychiatric units, have a child with another woman, and attempted to end my life. I am healing everyday and you are part of that process.
I have worked with a variety of populations. I am passionate about working with other mental health professionals struggling with anxiety, depression, and trauma. I am honored to work with first responders (fire fighters, police, paramedics, doctors, etc). You are not alone. I understand the complex dynamics associated with seeking help.
Hello there. Thanks for checking out my profile.
I don't know what brings you to this tiny nook of the internet, on this particular day, but I am grateful and very curious to hear.
As a therapist, I've worked with adolescents and adults for over a decade; sharing in their challenges, connecting in laughter and kindness.
It would be my joy to learn your story and meet you with warmth, humor, and sincerity.
Hi! Thanks for checking out my profile! My name is Mike and I am glad you're here!
I received my masters degree in counseling from Fitchburg State University in 2017. After graduating, I started my career as a trauma-informed in home family therapist wherein I worked primarily with children, adolescents, and their caregivers teaching communication skills, coping strategies, addressing safety concerns, and working to improve stability in a home environment. Since 2022 I have worked as an outpatient counselor working with a range of clients from ages 6 to adult. I love working with a variety of clients, and focus especially on treating anxiety, depression, ADHD, and identity.
As a LMHC and Art Therapist, my work is rooted in the belief that creative expression can be a powerful pathway to healing, insight, and personal growth. My use of art therapy offers a unique way to explore thoughts, emotions and behaviors. Through the creative process you can safely examine experiences, reduce stress, and access deeper self-understanding. No artistic skill or background is needed the focus is on expression, not perfection.
I’m a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) prepared Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who earned my doctorate from Elms College. I have over 10 years of experience in mental health care and nearly 19 years in the nursing field. Throughout my career, I have worked in inpatient, outpatient and community settings. I have experience supporting an treating a wide range of individuals, from young adults to older adults and geriatric patients.

Headway makes it easier to connect with affirming therapists who understand your identity — from finding the right therapist, to understanding costs, to scheduling with ease.
Finding the right LGBTQIA+-affirming therapist in Boston starts with knowing what kind of support you're looking for. Some people seek help with anxiety, depression, or relationship concerns that may be compounded by experiences of discrimination or minority stress. Others want a provider who understands coming out, gender identity, or the dynamics of LGBTQIA+ relationships and families. Identifying your priorities can help you narrow your search to providers with relevant experience.
When evaluating a therapist, look for a licensed provider — such as an LICSW, LMHC, psychologist, or psychiatrist — who has specific training or experience in LGBTQIA+-affirming care. Reading a provider's bio can give you a sense of their approach, background, and whether they identify as part of the LGBTQIA+ community themselves. A free phone consultation is another way to gauge fit before committing to a full session.
Therapy in Boston can be expensive, but using your in-network insurance benefits is one of the most reliable ways to reduce what you pay. On Headway, you can enter your insurance details to see estimated session costs before you book, and your out-of-pocket expense may be as low as $0 per session. Nationally, Headway partners with over 100 insurance plans, making it easier to find an affirming provider who fits both your needs and your budget.
