I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, with over 15 years of Post-Graduate education and training in Modern Psychoanalysis at the Philadelphia School of Psychoanalysis, which allows me to listen and respond to your needs, through special understanding of unconscious processes that affect the human mind as a whole.
My specialty is in using Talk Therapy as a treatment for relieving mental and emotional distress. Whatever your diagnosis, difficulty, age, finances, or emotional needs, I help you with the process of talking to solve conflicts which block you from accomplishing what you want in life.
Hi, my name is YD Goldstein and I'm a clinical psychologist. My specialty is treating OCD, phobias and PTSD. I help adolescents and adults navigate high school, college, dating, academic pressure, work stress, and the exhausting effort of keeping distressing thoughts pushed below the surface.
I also work with new dads adjusting to fatherhood and balancing the demands of their relationships and home life. Many people first reach out to me during a crisis, but once we work through the immediate stress, they often continue in therapy to build resilience, insight, and lasting change.
I have 10+ years of experience working with preteens, teens, and adults in both clinical and non-clinical manners. I began my career as a therapist working at and developing a clinical program within a public school system. Additionally, I worked for a company which provided Intensive In-Community (IIC) Services for youth and families in Bergen County. These career opportunities have rewarded me with a wealth of knowledge in areas of anxiety, depression, ADHD, family and peer conflict, school avoidance and life transitions for preteens, teens, and even young adults.

Headway makes it easy to find support for your mental health — from finding the right provider, to understanding costs, to scheduling with ease.
Finding the right therapist in Hoboken starts with getting clear on what kind of support you're looking for. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, or a life transition, look for a licensed provider — such as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or psychologist — who has experience with your specific concerns. Reading a provider's bio can help you understand their approach and decide if they're a good match before you book.
Hoboken is home to providers trained in a range of therapy styles, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), EMDR, and couples counseling approaches like the Gottman Method. Many providers offer both in-person sessions in Hoboken and surrounding Hudson County areas, as well as virtual appointments — so you can choose what fits your schedule.
Therapy in the NYC metro area can be expensive, but using your in-network insurance benefits is one of the most reliable ways to lower your out-of-pocket costs. On Headway, you can enter your insurance details to see estimated session costs before you book, and many patients pay as low as $0 per visit. Nationally, Headway partners with over 100 insurance plans, making it easier to find a therapist who is both the right clinical fit and covered by your plan.
