There was a time when I felt trapped by anxiety, depression, and overwhelm. I spent years feeling like I was constantly reacting to the world around me—easily overwhelmed, shutting down, and unsure how to move forward. I was living in a hypervigiliant state - always on edge, feeling unsafe in relationships and in my aloneness. This was also followed with depressive states followed by shame and guilt. Working with a Practitioner in Somatic Experiencing has transformed my emotional well being by helping my brain and body recognize safety and reducing my sensitivity to unpleasant sensations and arousal. I now feel more in control, I welcome unpleasant bodily sensations when they show up, and feel more safe in my body.
As a therapist rooted in Buddhist principles, my approach respects the innate wisdom each individual possesses. I believe clients are their own best experts in healing, and my role is to support them in uncovering their truths and navigating their journeys toward healing and self-discovery.
I hold a Master's in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness from New York University, which has enriched my understanding and practice of therapeutic techniques. I strive to create a safe, compassionate space where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings without judgment. Within this sanctuary, we work collaboratively to shift perspectives, fostering greater happiness and joy.
Ultimately, my deepest aspiration as a therapist is to facilitate a healing environment where individuals feel seen, heard, and valued.

My style is warm, practical, and patient-centered. I work with you to better understand what you are experiencing, identify meaningful goals, and create a treatment plan that fits your needs. With my background in both mental health and family practice, I take a whole-person approach to care that supports both emotional well-being and overall wellness.
I graduated from NYU in Mental Health Counseling and Wellness and am finalizing my doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Pace University. I am a warm, grounded therapist who prioritizes emotional safety while building genuine rapport. Once trust is established, I thoughtfully challenge clients in ways that promote insight and growth without undermining that sense of security. I allow glimpses of my own humanity, which helps clients feel understood while still maintaining clear professional boundaries. Overall, my style reflects a balance of compassion, depth, and seasoned clinical judgment.
I am a clinician with several years of experience in addiction, depression, grief, bereavement, ACOA issues. My approach to treatment is direct but gentle encouragement to help a client deal with their feelings and make changes that are beneficial for them. My dynamic is serious but also humorous. I truly believe that in some cases laughter is the best medicine. I accept clients ages 25+.
My approach blends psychodynamic therapy — exploring how our past shapes who we are — with cognitive behavioral techniques that help you shift patterns and take back control of your thoughts and choices. I meet clients where they are, offering a space of respect, understanding, and real conversation.
If you’re ready to start doing the work — to heal, to grow, and to reclaim your power — I’d be honored to walk beside you.
“I am what time, circumstance, history, have made of me, certainly, but I am also much more than that. So are we all.” — James Baldwin
I am a NY state licensed clinical mental health counselor with diagnostic privilege. When anxiety, grief, or big life changes start to feel overwhelming, it can be hard to know where to turn. Together, we’ll slow things down, make sense of what you’re going through, and identify small, doable steps toward relief. I work especially with adults and seniors facing depression, panic, trauma, chronic conditions, relationship stress, or end-of-life concerns, and I provide a calm, affirming space where all of your feelings are welcome.
