I’m deeply committed to creating a warm, welcoming environment where you can feel comfortable being yourself. I approach therapy with empathy, curiosity, and a genuine desire to understand your unique story. I’m here to support them in their journey, offering not just expertise, but also encouragement and a sense of partnership. My practice is all about empowering you to take charge of your life, equipping you with the tools and confidence to navigate whatever challenges come your way.
I believe that the relationship between therapist and client is essential-the fit between us must work- I use a psychodynamic approach; helping clients learn more about themselves to understand what gets in the way of leading a meaningful life in their intimate, family relationships and in their career.
I have been practicing for over 30 years. I teach and supervise in an advanced training program for licensed mental health practitioners that I also help run.

I am a clinical psychologist with 16 years of experience helping people navigate challenging life transitions, loss, trauma, advanced age and terminal illness. Recently, I have begun to weave Psychedelic Preparation and Integration work into my offerings, in appreciation of the ways expanded states of consciousness can unlock new avenues of emotional healing.
Following my Ph.D., I received four years of advanced postdoctoral training at the Austen Riggs Center in Stockbridge, MA. Working four times a week with clients suffering from severe personality, dissociative, and psychotic disorders gave me a profound respect for the human capacity to both suffer and heal as well as experience extreme vulnerability and resilience. Working with the most severely troubled allows me to work comfortably with a wide range of clients across the diagnostic spectrum.
Hey there! I’m Kristie. I have two wonderful children ,3 energetic Golden Retrievers, and 4 yes 4 barn cats. We love the outdoors and our pets . I understand how complex and messy life can be. I’m great with messy and complex. I’m understanding and non judge-mental. I specialize in trauma, families, and behaviors.
I help women reconnect with themselves—especially in the moments when life hasn’t gone according to plan. Many of the women I work with are helpers themselves: therapists, educators, healthcare workers, mothers. They’re navigating overwhelm, grief, perfectionism, relationship struggles, and questions of identity. They’re high-achieving and deeply caring, yet often unsure how to extend the same compassion inward.
I am a LCSW who has almost 20 years of post graduate experience supporting my clients. I have an extensive background supporting families in many capacities including home visits, and office settings to understand specific needs of all members.
