I have 13 years of experience as an inpatient psychiatric NP at Northwell Health.
I have 25 yrs of experience in a variety of settings including emergency rooms, medical units, long-term care facilities & inpatient mental health units. I have provided hands-on case management, crisis intervention, discharge planning and end-of-life support as well as lead teams in those settings. My goal is to identify client's challenges that cause pain, sadness, frustration, anger and even confusion and help them move forward in living their lives to their fullest potential.
My focus is working with people who may be feeling overwhelmed, worried, depressed, or struggling to manage daily stress. Much of my experience and training is focused on women and families experiencing mood challenges when having a baby (perinatal mood and anxiety disorders), infertility, and adjusting to the many changes during this time. Also, I have much experience working with pre-teens and adolescents who may be struggling emotionally and/or behaviorally.

In addition to being a Bilingual Psychotherapist fluent in both English and Mandarin, Prior to entering private practice, I have held different roles, including Clinical Supervisor, Group Facilitator, Panel Leader for the 1st and 2nd China Psychology Forum, Research Assistant, Advocate, and Volunteer.
