I have found therapy to be the place for the client and the counselor to laugh, cry, decide, and embrace the sacred space of change and acceptance in one’s life. I have served in pastoral ministry for eighteen years along with five years as a clinical counselor. I feel that I bring a pastor’s heart of empathy, patience, and compassion into my therapeutic work. I do enjoy serving clients with varied needs and of all faiths.

I completed my graduate training at The University of Chicago, and have received additional post-graduate training in Internal Family Systems (IFS) including Somatic IFS, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused CBT and more.

I earned a Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Cincinnati after working in Children's Protective Services and Juvenile Court facilities. I have years of experience helping children, youth and families connect and function in more healthy ways. I see adults and couples as well, and strive to facilitate healing of hearts and marriages.

I have personal and professional experience in foster parenting and adoption. One of my special areas of interest is the effects of nutrition and exercise on mental health. I have utilized Equine-assisted Psychotherapy for twenty years as a specialty.

A little about me. I received my Bachelor of Psychology in 2000 and my Master of Education in Community Counseling in 2002 from the University of Akron. For 9 years, I provided therapeutic counseling services to children and adults in outpatient, home-based, and school-based settings. For the past 11 years, I have provided outpatient mental health therapy to individuals, couples, and families of all ages, in person and via telehealth, in a private practice setting.

I am a very diverse therapist who feels it is very important to meet clients where they are at. I have an open-door policy regarding client population. Bridget Gray (she/her/hers) completed her Master’s degree in Community Counseling in 2009 from Kent State University. She is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with a supervision designation in the state of Ohio and a Board Certified Tele-mental Health provider (BC-TMH). Bridget has worked in a variety of settings including intensive outpatient, community mental health, hospital outpatient services, and private practice. Bridget primarily works with highly sensitive people.

I am a very open-minded therapist. I have worked with a large range of different people in different settings. I have worked with kiddos from age 4 to adults aged 70+ and have found what works best for each individual I work with. I studied my undergrad at Cleveland State University and got my masters at Northeastern State University in Oklahoma. After, I worked school-base, home-based, as well as within the workers comp world so have worked with a little of everything!
