Hi! I'm Bird- My ideal client is a professional helper, caregiver, or adolescents and adults who feel burned out, are questioning themselves, or quietly struggling with recovery, identity stress, or trauma. They’re often used to being the strong one and feel disconnected from their own needs. They want relief, clarity, and sustainable ways to live and work without losing themselves. I work well with generational cycle breakers, first in the family to seek help/go to therapy, individuals who are navigating identity and life shift, grief, loss, adjustment, and those healing from trauma caused by organized religion.
I offer queer-affirming, trauma-informed therapy and therapeutic coaching for recovery, burnout, and moral injury. My work integrates IFS, Jungian psychology, DBT, and collaborative psychiatric care to support healing that is individualized, holistic, and grounded in lived experience.
If you’re exhausted from holding it together or feel unseen in traditional therapy spaces, you’re not alone. You deserve care that honors your humanity, not just your productivity. I offer a collaborative, non-judgmental space to begin reconnecting with yourself, healing what you've been holding, and walking with you to set and reach your goals.
Hi, I’m Kim! I am an experienced therapist and school social worker whose goal is for you to feel free to explore difficult emotions, life and mental health challenges in a safe, and judgement-free space. I bring a compassionate, validating, and empowering approach to every session. I will help you and/or your child transcend the challenges you are facing in your life.
Hello! As a licensed professional counselor, I want to help you achieve your best self. Asking for help can be difficult, so it's great that you are looking into getting help. I have been in practice for 10 years and look forward to working with you to achieve your goals.
Dr. Milspaw graduated with her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Chestnut Hill College, in Philadelphia, PA. Her theoretical orientation consists of a complementary blend of psychodynamic and family systems theories. She has extensive training in psychological assessment and multicultural competence. Her dissertation examined how the use of humor differs across cultures within the context of health care.
Dr. Milspaw has 25 years clinical experience working with children, parents, and families. She completed her assessment practicum in a forensic setting utilizing objective and projective psychological assessments. Her pre-doctoral internship consisted of intense in-home work with families experiencing severe mental illness. Following completion of her doctoral training, she worked in private practice continuing her experience serving families and children. She owns a private practice, Gallant Psychological and Forensic Services, that recently received an award for 6 consecutive years of being named the best psychologist in Camp Hill, PA. The forensic part of her practice consists mostly of helping families who find themselves involved in the Court system as a result of divorce and custody conflicts.
Dr. Milspaw is active in the Pennsylvania Psychological Association (PPA) and is co-chair of the been on PPA’s Child Custody and Forensic Committees for 20 years. She is currently co-chair of PPA’s Child and Family Forensics Committee. She sat on the Pennsylvania Taskforce on Supervised Visitation and led the development of a free training video and accompanying paperwork for families and children in need of a supervised visitor.
I work with adolescents and adults who want more than just healing and coping-I help folks connect the dots for how to live a more successful and joyful life. About half of my practice is focused on performance psychology, while the other half focuses on overcoming depression, trauma, and anxiety. Many of the people I work with are thoughtful, driven, and curious. They're not only looking to feel better-they want to know why they feel the way they do. As I often say: descriptions can validate, but explanations heal. Together, we connect the dots between your experiences, patterns, and goals in order to thrive.
I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and certified in addictions (ICAADC) with years of experience working with individuals facing substance use, trauma, mood disorders, and major life transitions. I'm bilingual (English/Spanish), culturally competent, and bring deep compassion and professionalism to every session. Clients appreciate my direct, honest approach that still feels safe, supportive, and empowering. I believe that healing is possible with the right tools, guidance, and trust.
I am curious and validating, providing a nurturing environment to talk openly and honestly about your struggles, strengths, weaknesses, needs, likes, and dislikes. I love helping people explore their unique and particular powers as well as how these powers impact their world and their relationships. As a passionate supporter of those who have been through unjust or otherwise traumatic experiences--including those experiencing discrimination based upon race or gender identity or sexual orientation--I am particularly interested in helping people gain skills for dealing with, and making sense of, the remnants of their pasts.
Having completed Bessel Van der Kolk's Trauma Research Foundation's Certificate in Traumatic Stress Studies in early 2025, I have a strong foundational understanding of the most cutting edge approaches to treating trauma. I am also comfortable using a combination of approaches, including Psychodynamic, Gestalt, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I received an MSW from the University of Pennsylvania, a psychodynamically focused program, after which I completed Bryn Mawr's certificate program in psychodynamic psychotherapy. I have also completed 1 year of Gestalt Therapy training and the Acceptance and Commitment Therapy Immersion Program.
As an LCSW, my training emphasized the role of social environment--from the family to society at large--in how we construct our narratives, enabling me to help you make sense of what in your life is yours to own and what is a product of your environment.
I encounter clients where they are. As we build a relationship, we explore coping skills. I believe that small progress is still progress.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with more than a decade of experience working with youth, adolescents, and young adults. I believe therapy works best when clients feel understood, respected, and supported. I strive to create a space where individuals can feel safe being themselves while learning skills to navigate life's challenges. I am bilingual and provide therapy in both English and Spanish.
Welcome! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania. My experience is in working with adults with histories of trauma, anxiety, depression, and PTSD. I have worked with my clients in exploring conflicts in their relationships; feeling safer in the world and their bodies; questioning the social norms of gender, sexuality, neurotype, and body image; and, my favorite part, cheering them on when they feel like they are able to live authentically as themselves in a harsh world that wants us to be small!
You bring your goals and strengths and I’ll bring a fresh perspective and tools that empower. Integrating mindfulness, creative arts, or your spiritual practices enhances my pragmatic, behavioral approach. Bonus: Free weekly women’s virtual group forming.
My approach is to be present with you during these times, offering a thoughtful and supportive environment as we examine your unique circumstances together.
