Headway helps you stay on track with expert-guided support for ADHD — from finding the right therapist or psychiatrist, to understanding costs, to scheduling with ease.
Finding the right ADHD therapist in Pittsburgh starts with clarifying what kind of support you need. ADHD can affect focus, time management, emotional regulation, and daily routines — and the right approach depends on your specific experience. A licensed therapist with ADHD experience can help with strategies like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), while a psychiatrist can evaluate whether medication management is appropriate. Some people benefit from working with both.
Pittsburgh has a wide range of mental health providers, but narrowing your options can take time — especially when you need to confirm insurance, availability, and ADHD expertise. Consider what matters most to you, whether that's a provider who works with adults, someone experienced with co-occurring anxiety or depression, or a therapist who offers virtual appointments. Reading a provider's bio before booking can help you understand their approach and decide if they're a good match.
Therapy in Pittsburgh can be expensive without insurance, but affordable options are available when you use in-network coverage. On Headway, you can enter your insurance details to see estimated session costs before you book — and many patients pay as low as $0 per visit. Nationally, Headway partners with over 100 insurance plans, making it easier to find an ADHD specialist who fits both your clinical needs and your budget.
