Hello! My name is Marcie and I am a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. My passion is helping individuals find their peace, confidence, and clarity. With a deep commitment to mental wellness, I offer compassionate, evidence-based care for children, teens, and adults across the lifespan.
Background & Education
I earned my Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Rush University in Chicago, IL and received my Psychiatric specialization from National University in San Diego CA. I have my national board certification through the ANCC and have trained in a variety of clinical settings, including outpatient psychiatry, integrated primary care, and crisis intervention services.
As a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, I provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and medication management. I specialize in adults/ college students struggling with mood instability, women’s mental health, including pregnancy and postpartum. As well as working with families navigating schizophrenia and or mood disorders. I believe healing begins when the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—is nurtured. My approach goes beyond medication alone, blending evidence-based psychiatric treatment with lifestyle and wellness strategies designed to restore balance and promote lasting emotional well-being.
You should know that I truly care about who you are, not just the symptoms you’re experiencing. I understand that reaching out for mental health support can feel intimidating, especially if you’ve ever felt judged, misunderstood, or dismissed in the past. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, heard, and respected from the very first conversation.
I approach every person with compassion, patience, and curiosity. I take the time to understand your story, your stressors, and what matters most to you, so your care is never one-size-fits-all. I believe healing happens best when you feel supported and involved in your treatment, and I see our work as a true partnership.
I am committed to using evidence-based practices while also honoring your lived experience. Whether we are focusing on medication, coping strategies, or long-term growth, I will always be honest, supportive, and collaborative.
Above all, you should know that you are not alone here, and your well-being is my priority.
I’m Christina Reyes, LPC, and I provide a warm, collaborative, and evidence-based approach to therapy. I specialize in:
Feeling stuck in anxiety, depression, or relationship challenges? Struggling with mood swings, emotional regulation, or past trauma? I help teens and adults build coping strategies, emotional clarity, and healthier connections with themselves and others.
I believe healing is about finally feeling safe in your own skin. If anxiety has left you feeling stuck, depression has made everyday life feel heavy, or you’ve been carrying pain for a long time, I want you to know there is a way forward. I’m here to walk beside you as we work through the hard parts of your story, heal what’s been weighing you down, and help you build a life that feels more grounded, hopeful, and fully your own.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent nine years as a teacher, where I discovered how powerful compassion, patience, and understanding can be in helping others grow. Later, my work in psychiatric and residential treatment settings gave me the opportunity to walk alongside individuals and families during some of their most difficult moments. Those experiences shaped me into the therapist I am today—someone who values safety, trust, and genuine human connection above all else.
Working in treatment centers taught me how to meet people exactly where they are, without judgment. I learned to listen deeply, to hold space for pain, and to help others find calm and strength even when life feels overwhelming. These experiences strengthened my ability to support clients through trauma, depression, anxiety, and self-esteem challenges, and to help them rediscover their resilience and sense of empowerment.
My approach is holistic and person-centered, and I strive to create a warm, nurturing environment where you feel safe to be yourself. Together, we’ll work at your own pace, exploring your story and building tools to help you heal, grow, and move toward a greater sense of peace and balance.
