I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) providing compassionate, holistic mental health care for individuals across the lifespan. I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, PTSD, insomnia, schizophrenia, and substance use challenges, helping them regain balance and confidence in their lives.
My approach to care is warm, empowering, and collaborative. I believe every person deserves to feel heard, understood, and supported while navigating their mental health journey. I work closely with each client to develop a personalized treatment plan that supports emotional well-being, symptom management, and long-term stability.
With experience in both inpatient and outpatient psychiatric settings, I have supported individuals facing complex mental health challenges and life stressors. I provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and supportive therapy, while incorporating lifestyle and coping strategies that promote lasting wellness.
I am passionate about helping people develop the tools and understanding they need to take control of their mental health. My goal is to create a safe, judgment-free environment where clients feel comfortable sharing their experiences and working toward meaningful change.
The first step toward change is to decide that you are not going to stay where you are. I applaud you for taking that step! I would be honored to create a collaborative space to explore the barriers that may be keeping you from where and who you want to be. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor, and owner of Do The Work Counseling Services, PLLC.

Headway helps you stay on track with expert-guided support for ADHD — from finding the right therapist or psychiatrist, to understanding costs, to scheduling with ease.
Finding the right ADHD therapist or psychiatrist in Laredo starts with understanding the type of care you need. A therapist can help you build coping strategies, improve time management, and work through the emotional impact of ADHD using approaches like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) or behavioral therapy. A psychiatrist can evaluate whether medication management is appropriate and monitor your response over time. Some people benefit from working with both.
