One of my favorite quotes is by the Roman writer, Terence: "I am human and there is nothing human foreign to me." (or, Homo sum, humani nihil a me alienum puto. -- Publius Terentius Afer, 165 BCE)

I am enthusiastic Washingtonian and happy to call Seattle home. I received my undergraduate degree in Medical Anthropology and Global Health from the University of Washington, and my Doctorate from the University of North Dakota. When partnering with me, expect a clinician who is focused on you, your culture, and how all of these factors impact your experience. I lead with curiosity, collecting and using data to inform our work together and guide my integration of evidenced based practice.
My journey in this field began with a fascination for individual development across the lifespan, particularly in relational and identity formation. I earned my B.S. in Developmental Psychology and Women & Gender Studies, which laid the foundation for my interest in this field. Following my undergraduate studies, I completed two terms of service with AmeriCorps, providing support to individuals and families at Community Resource Centers in California throughout the Sacramento and Bay Area. Through these experiences, I gained valuable insight into how strong communities are built by supporting the well-being of individuals and families. This work ultimately inspired me to pursue an M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Sonoma State University.
I’m a Licensed Couples & Family Therapist and the founder of a virtual private practice serving clients in Washington and Idaho. My background is rooted in systems theory, which means I consider how family, cultural, and social dynamics shape your experiences and well-being. I specialize in supporting individuals navigating life transitions, relationship challenges, identity exploration, and stress or anxiety. My work is grounded in creating a space where you feel seen, heard, and supported as you move toward meaningful change.
