I'm a seasoned dually licensed therapist with over 10 years of clinical experience. I have worked with individuals who specifically suffer from addiction, borderline personality disorder, relationship issues, trauma, depression, anxiety, previously incarcerated and those in crisis. Iv also observed and supervised individuals in gaining their hours for licensure as well.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Doctorate in Social Work, and I bring both clinical expertise and real life understanding into the therapy space. My professional background includes years of direct clinical practice as well as leadership roles in complex, high stress systems, including serving as a Mental Health Director. These experiences have shaped my ability to support individuals who are navigating pressure, responsibility, and emotional overwhelm while still being expected to function at a high level.

I work best with clients who are strong on the outside but struggling internally. Many of the people I support are women, mothers, professionals, caregivers, and helpers who are used to showing up for others while neglecting their own emotional needs. I have a particular passion for working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, imposter syndrome, burnout, life transitions, relationship stress, identity concerns, and trauma related to past or ongoing stressors.

Therapy with me is not about having all the answers. It is about learning how to trust yourself, set healthy boundaries, and show up for your life with more compassion and confidence.

I am able to evaluate and make diagnoses, and/or support existing diagnoses and work with you for a 'best-fit' solution to your needs. So many come from a past of being told they are 'X, Y, Z" and often misdiagnosed or underdiagnosed.

My goal is to help find a good treatment start point that resonates with you and provide evidence-based treatment to support your needs, goals, and desires to bring relief and remission, joy and hope.

In 2023 I completed my doctoral training as a psychiatric nurse practitioner at the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington. I earned my board certification in the fall of that same year. Demetric “Dee” Marsh, LCSW, JD, is a dedicated behavioral health professional with over 25 years of experience in the mental health field. She is a multistate licensed Licensed Clinical Social Worker and holds a Juris Doctor degree from the Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law School in New York. She earned her Master’s degree in Social Work from Adelphi University, with a specialization in mental health and addictions, and holds a Bachelor’s degree from Hofstra University in Sociology with a minor in Political Science and French Language/Culture.

Dee has extensive experience working in a variety of roles, including psychotherapist, program director, clinical supervisor, adjunct professor, and consultant. She also provides LCSW clinical supervision. Her practice includes working with individuals, families, couples, and groups.

She specializes in a wide range of areas, including anxiety, depression, trauma, stress management, addictions, grief and loss, workplace and employment issues, women’s issues, diversity and cultural concerns, spirituality, and court-related assessments and recommendations, as well as foster care and adoption-related services.
