I’m Rebekah (she/her), a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience in human services including more than a decade serving Veterans and their families. I’ve worked across inpatient, outpatient, and community settings, and I hold a certificate in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction. I draw from several evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Behavioral Activation (BA), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), Motivational Interviewing (MI), self-compassion practices, and harm-reduction approaches to substance use. I tailor treatment to each individual and check in regularly to ensure the work we’re doing feels helpful and aligned with your goals.
I am a Marriage and Family Therapist based in Seattle, originally from Texas. My journey into therapy began when I was 16 and started attending counseling for my own struggles. What began as a path toward personal healing quickly turned into a deep curiosity about the therapeutic process itself — I became fascinated by how therapy worked and what it could mean to support others in their own growth. From that point on, I was all in. I studied psychology in every way I could, which eventually led me to move to Seattle in 2018 to pursue my undergraduate degree in the field.
Along the way, I developed a strong interest in how people grow and change across their lifespans — especially through the lens of attachment, family dynamics, and the neuroscience behind emotion and behavior. These early interests laid the foundation for my graduate studies in Marriage and Family Therapy, where I deepened my understanding of how relationships and systems shape who we are.
My approach is person-centered, focusing on you, the client, and the moment-to-moment engagement, discovering insights together. I can help you discover insights into barriers, and the constructive solutions to overcoming those barriers. Each person has the right to live a life free of negative thoughts and experiences—a life of healthy well-being.
I can help you experience safety, change and empowerment. We will work in the present moment through relationship and the body. I work creatively, flexibly, and respectfully to empower you to achieve your goals. I offer specialized skill in working with anxiety, trauma, depression, relationship issues, gender concerns, and major life transitions. I am a compassionate, caring, and creative listener who has the guidance and skill to assist you
Hello! It's great to meet you. I'm Autumn Halliwell, a psychotherapist and clinical social worker. I work with clients who are facing significant life changes, experiencing mood disorders, working through trauma and its impact, or just need some help finding some insight in the moment. I identify as a member of the LGBTQIA+, kink, and polyamorous communities.
I've been in human services for nearly 30 years, and helping people heal, grow, and evolve is my passion and purpose. I started my career in teaching, and transitioned to counseling about 20 years ago. I have additional training in clinical hypnotherapy and energy/shamanic healing, which informs my work with clients (but is not covered by insurance). I consider myself a holistic therapist, and love it when clients want to include spiritual topics in their plan for mental and emotional wellness.
I work with individuals 16 and over who are looking for grounded support and new skills to cope with stressors. I love to help clients identify underlying causes of distressing symptoms. I work with individuals navigating anxiety, trauma, depression, grief and loss, relationship challenges, non-monogamy and polyamory, and LGBTQIA+ identity and sexuality.
I’m a licensed psychologist with more than three decades of experience in psychotherapy, psychological assessment, and trauma-informed care. My background includes extensive work with adults, adolescents, and children across private practice, medical settings, and the VA’s PTSD clinic, where I provided both treatment and disability evaluations. I completed my doctorate at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln in an APA-approved Counseling Psychology program and an APA-accredited internship with broad training in assessment, psychotherapy, and multidisciplinary collaboration. I specialize in trauma, mood and anxiety disorders, dissociation, family-of-origin issues, and helping people untangle long-standing patterns that keep them stuck. My style is warm, open-minded, and direct, meeting people right where they are while helping them move toward where they want to be.

You can’t break out of a cage you’re still trying to decorate. I’ve been many people’s 4th/5th/8th/9th therapist and been told they felt like something finally clicked for them. I care about it clicking. My approach is based on self-compassion and living an integrated life. Even if you’re motivated to change, it’s still hard because negative events can shape beliefs about the world and ourselves that we often don’t even realize we hold. So we start with self-compassion, and then work on trying to bring our actions into alignment with our goals. I’ve been a therapist for over a decade now, and I promise – self-compassion is the move.
I’m a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Washington and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Oregon, providing secure telehealth therapy for adults ages 18–65 throughout both states, allowing you to access sessions from the safety of your own space. I offer both private-pay and insurance options. I specialize in supporting clients through anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and major life transitions.
