I know that sometimes asking for help can be difficult. Rest assured, we all need help at one time or another in our lives. I am dedicated to helping children, teens and adults discover their unique voice and express themselves in a safe, supportive and nonjudgemental space. With a warm, client-centered approach, I specialize in guiding individuals through life's challenges---whether it's anxiety, trauma, emotional regulation, racial identity exploration, stress or family dynamics.

I am a Doctorally prepared Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 10 years of experience supporting individuals and families through some of life's most demanding chapters — serious illness, end-of-life care, caregiving, grief, and the particular kind of burnout that comes from loving someone with complex needs. My hospice and palliative care background has shaped the way I work: with deep respect for what people are carrying, and a focus on dignity, whole-person care, and what actually helps in real life.

I am also a parent of a child with Down syndrome. I know what it means to receive a diagnosis that reshapes your family's future. I've navigated IEP meetings, medical appointments, the emotional complexity of caregiving, and the way people who love you still don't quite understand. That lived experience is not separate from my clinical work — it's at the center of it. When you sit across from me, you won't have to explain yourself from the beginning.

Dr. Tania is a Licensed Psychologist offering individual therapy for a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, OCD, ADHD, phobias, trauma, perfectionism, burnout, depression, disordered eating, body image issues, relationship challenges, addictions, grief, and other experiences across the human condition.

Dr. Tania also offers couples therapy (Gottman Method Levels 1 & 2 certified), comprehensive ADD/ADHD evaluations, ESA letters, and formal documentation for academic accommodations and standardized testing.

For the past five years, I have been honored to walk alongside my clients as they navigate challenges like anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, relationship issues, and self-esteem issues. I also work with clients struggling with mood disorders, OCD, and personality disorders, amongst other conditions. My journey in this field began with my education at the University of Central Florida, where I built the foundation for my clinical practice. Greetings! Welcome to Live Light Counseling! I’m Victoria Henry. I have a Masters in Mental Health counseling from Nova Southeastern University. Currently my practice is serving couples, targeting women’s issues, and adjustment and change of life issues. I utilize the Gottman method for couples therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy techniques to address various problem areas.
