Hi! My name is Kayla. I have been a nurse for 20 years and have been a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner for the past 3 years. I am a mom, spouse, divorcee, cancer survivor, and I love animals. I am here to listen and to meet you where you are. Your mental health impacts every aspect of your life, health, and relationships. I am trained to treat complex and the most common mental health conditions with an individualized treatment plan. My primary population is adults, including geriatrics. As an experienced partner in your mental health journey, finding the right treatment plan for you is my goal.
My name is Sodna Paul, and I’m a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). I truly believe that mental health is just as important as physical health, and I consider it a privilege to walk alongside my clients in their healing and growth. I earned my Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a specialization in Psychiatric Mental Health from St Thomas University. Before becoming a PMHNP, I worked as a registered nurse inpatient psychiatry, Correctional facility and medical-surgical units, which gave me a strong foundation in holistic patient care. I work with adolescents, adults, and older adults across a wide range of mental health concerns, with Depression and anxiety, Bipolar disorder, ADHD, Trauma and PTSD, Substance use disorders, Sleep issues and Lifestyle related mental health concerns. I use a combination of evidence-based medication management, supportive therapy, psychoeducation, and lifestyle coaching to help clients reach their goals.
I believe that therapy is a journey that first begins with the courage to heal. Therapy should be a safe place to heal, discover, grow, and find moments of selah--which means to pause and reflect. The following quote sums up what I believe the healing process looks like: “Life is like an onion; you peel it off one layer at a time, and sometimes you weep” (Carl Sandburg).
If you're carrying anxiety that won't quiet down, grief that hasn't had space to breathe, or the weight of holding your family together while losing yourself in the process, you're not alone. I've spent over 16 years working with adults and older adults, many walking into therapy for the first time after years of pushing through in silence. My clients describe me as warm, calm, and someone they can be honest with without feeling judged. Sessions available in English and Spanish. ¿Prefieres terapia en español? Bienvenida.
I am an LPC in Virginia and LMHC-S in Florida my background in practice consists of treating adolescents, families, children in at risk populations and treating adults with depression and anxiety. I take a holistic approach to counseling and meet the client where they are at. I include CBT and solution-focused techniques in order to assist clients dealing with a variety of issues. I also have a background in TF-CBT informed therapy and utilize this as needed.
Welcome! I'm glad you're here.
As a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to helping individuals reclaim their emotional balance through holistic, integrative psychiatric care. With expertise in evidence-based treatment she offers personalized care that addresses the mind, body, and spirit.
Victoria has a solid background in Critical Care, Pediatrics, and Geriatrics, and she has created a comprehensive approach to assisting individuals of all ages toward a more energized, resilient, and fulfilled version of themselves.
Victoria received a Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Psychiatric Mental Health from Purdue University. She also holds a Master of Education with a specialization in Counseling from Liberty University. She has over 30 years of caring in the medical arena.
My clinical background includes extensive experience working with underprivileged populations, victims of crime, and individuals coping with bereavement, grief, and loss. I have served as a school counselor for students from pre‐K through 12th grade, and I have supported college students navigating the challenges of major life transitions.
After completing my Master’s in Counseling from California State University, Sacramento, I co‐facilitated a children’s bereavement group with Hospice and led a suicide‐prevention program throughout inner‐city schools in Sacramento. These experiences have deepened my understanding of how individuals process adversity, build resilience, and find meaning in their healing journeys.
My therapeutic approach is humanistic and person‐centered, with an emphasis on play and art therapy. I also incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution‐Focused techniques, and mindfulness‐based approaches to support clients in developing insight, strengthening coping skills, and fostering emotional well‐being.
I want you to know that my role is to support you with compassion, respect, and evidence‐based care. I take the time to listen closely so I can understand what you’re experiencing and what matters most to you. My approach is collaborative—I believe treatment works best when we make decisions together. I’m here to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can speak openly and feel heard. My goal is to help you move toward stability, confidence, and a better quality of life.
I believe therapy works best when there is a strong connection between therapist and client. My style is warm, genuine, and direct. I'll offer compassion and support, but I'll also help you recognize patterns that may be keeping you stuck.
As a trauma-informed therapist and EMDR specialist, I create a space where you can be yourself without judgment. Clients often tell me they feel comfortable with me quickly because I show up as a real person—not just a therapist.
I believe healing happens through both insight and action. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, confident, and empowered to create meaningful change in your life.
