Hi! A little about me, I’ve been practicing psychotherapy for over 18 years working with kids, teens and adults, I also speak Spanish and have a master's degree in psychology. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and my main focus is helping minors and adults address problematic sexual behaviors, men’s issues, and the unique experiences of those who identify as LGBTQ+.

I also work with couples who are navigating the challenges of polyamory and exploring healthy relationship dynamics.

I offer a safe, nonjudgmental, and supportive space for clients to explore challenges related to substance use, codependency, anxiety, depression, and trauma.

Life is about experiences and stories around those experiences. Some good, some unexpected, some "WTF." I get it. Being human comes with a lot and that includes challenges that might rock you to your core. I’m Dr. Daniela De Medeiros, a clinical psychologist in Miami with over a decade of experience working with teens and adults from all walks of life. I work with people navigating anxiety, panic disorder, depression, ADHD, trauma, low self-esteem, grief, life transitions, identity, family conflict, relationship struggles, women’s issues, and the emotional weight of chronic illness and chronic pain. I hold a doctoral degree in clinical psychology (Psy.D.) and a master’s in mental health counseling, with specialized training in health psychology. I’m also trilingual and conduct sessions in English, Portuguese, and Spanish.

Most people who find me are exhausted, a little unsure therapy will even help, and carrying more than they let anyone see. You don’t have to have it all figured out to start.
