I’m an Indiana and Michigan Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over a decade of experience helping young adults, adults, and older adults (65+) manage life transitions, emotional stress, and everyday overwhelm. As a fully virtual provider, I offer flexible, confidential online therapy to clients across Michigan.
I live by a this motto: When you love what you do and do what you love, you never work a day in your life! My 36+ years as a psychotherapist has never been experienced as 'work' because it is both my vocation (a job) AND my avocation (something about which I am passionate). I consider it a privilege to journey along side my clients, to encourage and provide insight into how and why life is unfolding as it is.
My clients seek to understand and accept themselves and their life experiences. Together we will explore how your past is impacting your present, so you can ultimately move toward a better future.
I work with individuals, couples and families from an attachment and systems perspective, knowing we experience many wounds through relationships but through the right relationships we can also experience healing.
It is important in my work that I allow the client's cultural context inform my treatment.
I have over eighteen years of experience working with a diverse population seeking recovery from a great range of issues and needs. Over this time, I've assisted individuals seeking help with serious mental illness, anxiety, trauma, substance use, and stressors relating to housing and/or income stability, legal issues, divorce, grief, and religious trauma.
I’m passionate about supporting clients as they navigate life’s challenges. I believe everyone deserves to have someone by their side through both the highs and the lows.
I take a person-centered approach to therapy, meeting you exactly where you are and creating a space where you feel safe, understood, and supported—especially during vulnerable moments. I show up as my authentic self in sessions so that you can feel comfortable doing the same. My goal is that each time we meet, you leave feeling at least a little lighter—whether that comes from feeling heard, gaining insight, or simply having a space to release what you’ve been carrying.
With over 15 years of experience, I bring both professional knowledge and genuine compassion into my work. I’m known for being kind, approachable, and deeply committed to the therapeutic process.
I’m also a certified yoga instructor and enjoy incorporating mindfulness and grounding techniques into sessions when it feels helpful. I believe in the connection between mind and body and strive to support clients in feeling more balanced, present, and connected to themselves.
It’s truly an honor to walk alongside my clients as they heal, grow, and move forward.
Clients should know that I’m a real person first and a therapist second. I actually started my career in sports management, but life had other plans — and a series of lived experiences pulled me toward social work in a way that felt impossible to ignore. I went on to complete my MSW at Indiana State University in Terre Haute, IN, and I’ve spent the last ten years working in child protection, community health, and hospital social work in a Level 1 trauma facility.
I also spent years as a caregiver, which made me especially comfortable working with older adults and taught me that humor, patience, and a good cup of coffee can get you through almost anything. I’m nearing completion of my PST therapy certification, which adds a structured, problem‐solving lens to the work we do.
I take therapy seriously, but I don’t take myself too seriously — so you can expect warmth, honesty, and the occasional well‐timed laugh when life hands us something so absurd it deserves one.
So many people go through their day/week/month/ year without anyone really hearing or seeing them. It can be lonely and scary moving through the world with mental and emotional pain that you don’t know what to do with. Bring it to counseling. I’m Samantha, a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. I create and hold a safe, supportive, and empathetic space for my clients. I am a somatic EMDR practitioner and specialize in treating trauma, supporting individuals with ADHD, depression, anxiety, and overwhelm.
My name is Holly Bowling and I am a Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I started my nursing career in 2012 after graduating from Ball State University. I have had the opportunity to work in many disciplines where I was able to utilize my knowledge and skills required to provide for those with mental health issues, specifically, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and ADHD, allowing me the opportunity to continue pursuing my career, in mental health.
