I graduated from Smith College School of Social Work in Northampton, MA, in 2002 and have been helping people with various mental health issues since that time. I have been trained in psychodynamic therapy, DBT, mindfulness, and Somatic Experiencing, among other modalities.
I do not perform disability work.
I’ve been in practice for over 13 years since completing my postgraduate training at Harvard and University of California affiliated programs. I am board certified in adult, child, and adolescent psychiatry.
I’m open minded, non judgemental, and most of all, want to help. My private practice is just getting started, so I am scheduling patients on an immediate basis.
Are you someone driven to excel in your profession, academics, or sports, looking to improve your mental well-being, alleviate stress, strengthen relationships, and build self-confidence? As a licensed therapist and sports clinician at a D1 collegiate program, I am committed to supporting ambitious individuals like you in overcoming the obstacles keeping you from achieving your personal and professional goals.
I’m a licensed mental health counselor with a Master’s from Suffolk University, with a background in community health-based services. I’ve had the opportunity to work with a wide range of mental health challenges, from depression and anxiety to more complex disorders like PTSD and bipolar disorder. I enjoy working with clients of all ages, but I particularly focus on adults and adolescents.
Welcome! I have spend the last 15 years sitting with people experiencing the greatest pain of their lives. Pain caused by past trauma and fears of the future. Pain caused by loss of a loved one, a job, physical ability and independence. Pain caused by a lack of confidence in themselves and others. All of this compounded by the fact that their ways of coping were no longer working. The alcohol, drugs, food, excessive work, relationships, sex, or the need to control were starting to do more harm than good.
Hello! I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with over 16 years of clinical experience working as a therapist, supervisor and leader in residential, outreach, community mental health and healthcare settings. Based in Massachusetts, I currently offer telehealth services to clients statewide. My specific areas of focus include young adults and adults, those in the LGBTQIA+ communities, as well as those experiencing difficulties or discomfort with change, anxiety, grief/loss, depression and feeling "stuck." If you're motivated to seek therapy and ready to do the work, then I'd love to work with you!
