Welcome! I have spend the last 15 years sitting with people experiencing the greatest pain of their lives. Pain caused by past trauma and fears of the future. Pain caused by loss of a loved one, a job, physical ability and independence. Pain caused by a lack of confidence in themselves and others. All of this compounded by the fact that their ways of coping were no longer working. The alcohol, drugs, food, excessive work, relationships, sex, or the need to control were starting to do more harm than good.
I believe therapy is most effective when you feel genuinely seen, understood, and accepted. My goal is to create a warm, supportive space where you can explore your experiences at your own pace while building insight, resilience, and meaningful change.
I earned my Master of Social Work degree from Michigan State University and am a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC). I provide telehealth therapy for adults throughout Michigan, Massachusetts, and Illinois.
Hello! I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with over 16 years of clinical experience working as a therapist, supervisor and leader in residential, outreach, community mental health and healthcare settings. Based in Massachusetts, I currently offer telehealth services to clients statewide. My specific areas of focus include young adults and adults, those in the LGBTQIA+ communities, as well as those experiencing difficulties or discomfort with change, anxiety, grief/loss, depression and feeling "stuck." If you're motivated to seek therapy and ready to do the work, then I'd love to work with you!
I help women navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, body image concerns, emotional eating, addiction recovery, and perimenopause/menopause. Together, we'll explore what may be keeping you stuck while building practical tools, resilience, and self-compassion to create meaningful, lasting change.
Please note: I provide 100% virtual telehealth counseling and am currently accepting clients who are physically located in Massachusetts, North Carolina, Arizona, or Oregon. (I am unable to see clients residing in Virginia at this time.) If you live in MA, NC, AZ, or OR, please feel free to book a virtual session!

I’m Angela, a dedicated and empathetic Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with extensive experience providing comprehensive mental health care. I work with individuals facing a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, substance use, and sleep disorders, as well as life transitions related to relationships, career, and personal growth. Over the years, I have worked with folks of all ages and from all walks of life. What they all have in common is the desire to feel connected to others and feel that life is enriching, not depleting. If you are feeling depleted, for any number of reasons, I am here to support you and help you find what you need to be connected and enriched.
Life can bring moments that feel heavy, confusing, or overwhelming—whether from anxiety, trauma, relationship strain, or loss of direction. You may feel stuck or unsure why certain patterns keep repeating. Therapy offers a safe and supportive space to explore what’s holding you back and create a path toward emotional clarity, healing, and growth. Together, we’ll uncover the “why” behind your challenges and help you move toward a calmer, more balanced, and empowered version of yourself.
I cannot move mountains for you, but I can help you climb. Facing fears, healing from loss, finding meaning and joy - these are the inevitable tasks of life. Therapy may be your first step or your last resort. Often people avoid it all together because they believe their pain is too great, worry they will be judged or that their situation is too complicated. Some people believe they should solve problems on their own or only with family and friends. However, while family and friends may want the best for us, they often come with opinions or past hurts. Sometimes it helps to have a safe space outside your daily experience.
I am a down-to-earth, approachable therapist with over a decade of experience supporting teenagers, young adults, and their families. Many clients arrive hesitant about therapy but quickly find a comfortable, nonjudgmental space where they can talk about anything. I strive to be responsive to each person’s life experiences, including gender- and race-based toxic stress and trauma. I completed my training at Boston University and spent several years working with a multidisciplinary team at a safety-net hospital.
