I graduated from Smith College School of Social Work in Northampton, MA, in 2002 and have been helping people with various mental health issues since that time. I have been trained in psychodynamic therapy, DBT, mindfulness, and Somatic Experiencing, among other modalities.

step. I am Sharon, a licensed therapist (LICSW) in Massachusetts specializing in trauma, grief,

and the weight of experiences that do not just go away on their own. I bring a collaborative,

trauma-informed approach built on one core belief: healing happens inside a relationship where

you feel genuinely heard, understood, and safe to go at your own pace. Much of my career has

been spent supporting Veterans and others navigating life's hardest terrain, and I would be

honored to walk alongside you on yours.

As a therapist, I've worked with adolescents and adults for over a decade; sharing in their challenges, connecting in laughter and kindness.

Finding a provider can be challenging, overwhelming, and at times embarrassing. I have been in treatment for over 20 years, which prompted me to want to support other people like me. I am proficient in DBT as these skills have saved my life.

I am a woman in recovery, have been in psychiatric units, have a child with another woman, and attempted to end my life. I am healing everyday and you are part of that process.

I have worked with a variety of populations. I am passionate about working with other mental health professionals struggling with anxiety, depression, and trauma. I grew up in MA. I went to both public and catholic schools. I earned a 2nd degree black belt from Premier Martial Arts. I earned a BA in Psychology from UML. I worked at a group home for teenagers, then one for adult men with schizophrenia. I worked as a support and then a lead teacher at a day program for adults with developmental disabilities. There, I learned a lot about Behaviorism and ABA. I was then able to work as a clinician as I finished my graduate degree.

I earned my graduate degree at Fitchburg State University. I did my internship at the Community Health Center in Fitchburg. I worked in community mental health before venturing out on my own.

I am accepting new clients. Navigating through life can be challenging. I have extensive experience and advanced training in substance use. My concentrations are substance use, depression, anxiety, and trauma. I am also experienced in providing emotional support with LGBTQ+, life stressors, relationship difficulties, divorce, legal problems, financial issues, or loss. I am a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with a passion for integrative, whole-person care. By blending the principles of integrative psychiatry with a deep understanding of adult medicine, I am committed to treating the mind and body as a unified system. I believe that true wellness requires dedicated attention to both.

I earned my Bachelor of Nursing from University of Connecticut (Go Huskies!) before moving to Boston to start my career in bedside nursing in 2019. After serving as an RN and Director of Nursing at a residential treatment center, I earned my PMHNP at Regis College to specialize in mental health. Since then, I’ve gained diverse experience providing cutting-edge ketamine therapy in outpatient clinics and managing complex cases in inpatient psychiatry. Now, I’m bringing that clinical expertise—along with post-graduate training in CBT—to my full-time private practice, where I provide comprehensive, compassionate care for patients navigating anxiety, depression, OCD and ADHD in the South Boston area.
