Hello, I’m Therese. I work with adults who may be feeling stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or exhausted by patterns that no longer feel manageable.
I support individuals navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, chronic illness, and concerns related to eating disorders or disordered eating patterns.
I also have lots of experience helping people to live tobacco and/or nicotine free!
My approach is warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental.
I strive to create a calm, safe space where you can speak openly and feel understood.
If you are looking for someone who listens deeply, values connection, and takes a thoughtful, whole-person approach, I would be honored to support you.
I’m a bilingual therapist working with adults navigating anxiety, trauma, grief, and major life transitions. Many of the people I support feel overwhelmed by overthinking, internal pressure, difficulty managing stress, and the uncertainty of what comes next.
In our work together, I focus on helping you make sense of what’s happening internally and develop practical ways to respond to stress and emotions. I integrate cognitive, somatic, and neuroscience-informed approaches to support both emotional and nervous system regulation.
I believe therapy should feel human. It can be structured but still fit your individual needs. I offer a space where you can show up as you are, while also doing meaningful work that leads to real shifts in how you experience and respond to life.
ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS! Book a FREE 15-minute consult today! I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) & Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) with over 16 years of experience in mental health. My work is rooted in compassion, practicality, and a belief that therapy should be an empowering journey—not a lifelong commitment. I specialize in working with adolescents, adults, and seniors who experience ADHD, chronic illness & mind-body disconnect. I also integrate mental health and nutrition into my approach and provide grief-informed care.
I want you to know that therapy is a safe space where you can be yourself. There’s no judgment here—just a commitment to helping you feel more in control of your life and well-being.
Hello there, my name is Josie! I enjoy being a therapist because I have experienced the benefits of therapy myself, I enjoy working with people, and I believe life is worth living, but sometimes we need an extra person in our corner to help us navigate the ups and downs of this life.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Board Certified Life Coach with 30 years of professional clinical experience. I have worked in both outpatient and inpatient programs developing and leading mental health programs. I have owned a private successful practice since 2010 that was initiated to help people thrive through life's challenges. I was drawn to this field by a deep interest in human behavior transformative impact of helping others thrive and navigate through challenges that created lasting positive change.
I specialize in a variety of treatment approaches serving men and women. Let me support you in navigating difficult transitions tailoring your treatment to meet your needs.
I bring a lot of life experience to my practice. I have worked in various fields throughout my life prior to making the career switch to therapy. I can relate to a lot of different perspectives and backgrounds and bring this to session with me. I show up authentically, being direct but also using humor to connect with clients when needed.
I have worked collectively for 31 years in public safety, crisis work, training and mental/chemical health. During my 16 years in law enforcement (LE) my experiences included being a Sergeant, SWAT Team Leader, Negotiator, Critical Incident Facilitator and Trainer. My experience in LE has led me to my passion in how trauma impacts our first responders. I have used my own experience as a first responder and woman in recovery, to transcend into my current role of a mental health and chemical health therapist working with not only first responders - police, fire, military, dispatchers, front line workers and corrections officers, but also any survivor, individual struggling with LGBT issues, addiction, relational struggles or trauma. I am able to be a conduit of change, sharing the journey with those who face the everyday stressful events, trauma or finding one's true identity. We are never alone. I am here to be a safe place and safe person to share and divide your pain. I am here to honor your experiences, share your success and build your resilience and healing.
