ADHD symptoms like difficulty sustaining attention, forgetfulness, and procrastination can impact daily life, but effective support exists. Headway's Duluth network offers providers trained in mindfulness-based interventions, cognitive restructuring, and practical productivity strategies. Work with a provider who understands neurodiversity and helps build confidence while addressing executive function challenges.
I am a clinical psychologist and licensed alcohol and drug counselor. I specialize in treating social anxiety and trauma, especially in neurodivergent teens and adults. Loneliness and social exhaustion cause despair because we are all made for love and community. Feeling disconnected can be unbearable. Addictions of all kinds frequently develop as a way to cope. I can treat anyone with these problems, but I would be an especially good match for those who know or suspect that their struggles may be related to late-identified autism, ADHD, or dyslexia.
You’ve spent so much of your life holding space for others—showing up, pushing through, doing what’s expected. But where do you go when you need space to exhale? My practice is a sanctuary for high-achieving, heart-centered individuals who are tired of performing strength and ready to cultivate something deeper: true balance, ease, and self-trust.
As a therapist, I hold space for the complexities of your experience, offering both warmth and directness to guide you toward sustainable healing. I believe that transformation happens when we integrate mind, body, and spirit—where deep insight meets intentional action. Together, we’ll explore the patterns keeping you stuck and build a foundation for a life that feels just as good as it looks on paper.
15 years practicing in Mental Health. I feel honored to walk along side my clients in their journey.
Hello! I'm glad you're here. I believe in the healing power of therapy and would be honored to be a part of your journey. I am licensed as a clinical social worker and have been working as a therapist for the past three years, primarily with adolescents, adults and families. My specific treatment areas include mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma, and ADHD.
Forest Floor Therapy is a neurodivergent and identity affirming therapy practice for adults navigating ADHD, autism, anxiety, burnout, and life transitions. At a time when the weight of the world is so heavy, the Forest Floor offers us a space of stillness to slow down, take deep breaths, be seen, feel heard, and reconnect. I am also trained in WPATH Standards of Care and comfortable writing letters of support for those seeking identity affirming medical care.
I’m active and engaged in sessions. You can expect warmth, curiosity, and honesty, not a blank stare or a clipboard. Sometimes therapy here looks like slowing down and grounding. Sometimes it looks like learning new skills. Sometimes it looks like gently challenging old beliefs that no longer serve you. There’s room for humor, swearing, pauses, and figuring things out in real time.
Welcome and I’m so proud of you for making it this far! Therapy can be intimidating, so I am here to support you and walk with you on your journey. My philosophy is that you are the expert in your own experiences and I am just along to help guide you as you need.
I specialize in working with children, aged 6 through 18, and adults facing diverse challenges. I have a specialty in working with individuals facing life transitions, anxiety, ADHD, OCD, grief/loss, perinatal/postpartum, confidence building, trauma, and social skills building.
I earned my Master of Arts degree in psychology with a focus on marriage and family therapy to pursue my passion for helping others navigate life's challenges, achieve personal growth, and heal. My education and training have equipped me with the knowledge and skills to provide effective, evidence-based therapy to my clients.
As a therapist, I take a client-centered, genuine, collaborative approach to the client’s needs and goals. I have over 19 years of experience with significant experience helping adult clients (18+) work through anxiety, mood disorders (depression/bipolar disorder), sexual addictions/offenses, trauma, grief/loss, men and women's issues, and general life stressors/transitions (work, relationships, parenting, etc).
Sometimes it feels like you're carrying more than anyone else realizes. Anxiety, depression, painful experiences, parenting responsibilities, cultural expectations, or major life changes can leave you feeling emotionally exhausted and unsure of how to move forward. You may be taking care of everyone else while struggling to care for yourself. You don't have to keep doing it alone. I partner with individuals experiencing anxiety, stress management, panic disorder, cultural and ethnic issues, and trauma so they can build resilience, strengthen relationships, and create a greater sense of balance and confidence in their everyday lives. Working with adolescents, adults, and families, I strive to create a compassionate, culturally responsive environment where you feel genuinely heard, respected, and empowered to grow. Over the past ten years, I’ve had the joy of working with wonderful, diverse communities—from LGBTQIA2S+ and BIPOC individuals to those navigating mental illness, homelessness, and co-occurring challenges. As a child of immigrants myself, I truly understand the cultural barriers around mental health. I’m here to help break down those walls and create a warm, safe space where you feel genuinely seen, heard, and supported.
