I work with clients of all ages facing a wide range of emotional and psychological challenges, including anxiety, trauma-related symptoms, mood difficulties, chronic stress, and major life transitions. Many of my clients are high-functioning on the outside while quietly feeling exhausted, avoidant, or trapped by patterns they can’t seem to change. If something in your life isn’t working, therapy can help.
My approach is relational, client-centered, and trauma-informed, with with particular expertise in contemplative and somatic practices that I am happy to share with my clients in sessions. I am known for being warm, direct and affirming. I am a rostered CPP clinician, and I also have training and experience in CBT, CPT, DBT, EMDR, Exposure Therapy, MBSR, Seeking Safety, MI, SFT, TF-CBT, MATCH, Art Therapy and IFS.
If you’re ready to step out of survival mode and into a more intentional way of living, I’d be glad to work with you.

A client comes in to see her therapist and is 10 minutes late. She sits down and apologizes for her tardiness, to which the therapist replies that no apologies are necessary as clients are only late for their first session.
The vignette illustrates something that I see in clients repeatedly who come into my office. Many should have come in at least a year or two ago but for some reason think that the problems they experience are still manageable.
While I admire the will of many of those who still manage life like the proverbial Dutch Boy and the dike, I believe that asking for help is a strength of its own. In therapy, I come from the perspective of someone that had to receive help at various times in my life. I've also had a meandering career path, meaning that I've worked in several fields and industries prior to becoming a therapist and have been able to do ground-level empathizing with people who work in blue and white-collar professions.
I am an individual and family therapist with over a decade of experience supporting adolescents, adults, and parents navigating challenging behaviors. I specialize in helping clients manage life transitions and cope with symptoms related to Depression, Anxiety, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and grief.
