As a humanist, I believe in the inherent worth to every single human being. I am guided by the ethos of a journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step, and it is with each movement that we get closer to where we want to be. Through intentional effort we encounter change, embrace healing, and a foster a fruitful fulfilling life.
Once I became a mother, I began to value my ability to listen intently and hold space for all dimensions of a person. My background as a storyteller has shaped how my conversations with clients are structured yet intuitive. My work experience as a director of social-emotional programming to providing 1:1 psychotherapy in private practice for almost a decade has allowed me to support individuals from an array of backgrounds. Most of all, learning how to re-parent my own innerchild after trauma has given me the compassion and insight to consistently help my clients change their lives.

Life is about change and some changes are more difficult to navigate than others. When we are stressed, anxious or depressed, it is a sign that our lives are out of balance. My focus is on providing a safe, supportive, nonjudgmental and compassionate space for adults, couples, and families to share their experiences and to help navigate through some more difficult life changes [positive or negative] to create more balance in your life. I have at least 4 years of experience in working with a wide range of people who are experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, family conflict, as well as symptoms of severe and persistent mental illness. I enjoy working with clients who are motivated to make changes to improve their lives, find purpose, and meaningful fulfillment. I would encourage you to create the skills for effective coping mechanisms for overall wellness. I can collaborate with psychiatrists, primary care physicians, social service agencies and will accept most health insurances. Deciding to engage in therapy and choosing a therapist can be overwhelming. Finding a therapist whose personality and style is a good fit with yours is important. More importantly, I see YOU as the expert in your life with unique values, needs and issues. I look forward to helping you to more effectively pursue your values and explore what keeps you from being the best you ever.
As a non-binary therapist, I am committed to providing a safe, welcoming space for individuals of all identities. My approach is warm and collaborative, ensuring that every person I work with feels seen, respected, and empowered. I specialize in working with both adolescents and adults, supporting them through the unique challenges of life and growth.
