I am a mother of 3 children with autism. I have completed my undergraduate studies at Kent State, My graduate studies at Capella University where I did residency in Chicago and Atlanta. I have almost 7 years of experience in the field working in collaboration with ODJFS to help children and families. I live on a small hobby farm in Ohio and enjoy the outdoors.
What was your path to becoming a mental health provider?
I always had a desire to understand people and didn't realize there was a profession centered around my curiosity until college. I was also very intrigued with trying to understand my emotions growing up and because I struggled, I developed a desire to help others through their life challenges. I started providing support services to families and volunteers through a mentoring agency, which later led to interning at a psychiatric outpatient facility, to working with foster children providing therapy and to also growing my private practice here with Alma working with adults and children.
What should someone know about working with you?
I believe I am relatable and open to the sharing of myself with the understanding and expectation that you will be entrusting your vulnerabilities with me in session. I will challenge your thoughts, your patterns and your assumptions, and I give homework routinely as an extension of our time together to keep you active and engaged until we meet again.
How do you continue learning and building new skills?
I am committed to being a life-long learner. I take courses and trainings annually, listen to and learn from seasoned clinicians and try to stay afloat of new groundbreaking research related to treatments and techniques surrounding mental health.
"Success for me, is helping others create the wellness they desire."
Hello, my name is Patty and I am here to remind you that;
You are not your struggles.
Too often, people begin to define themselves by their anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, addiction, painful experiences, or difficult circumstances. While these challenges are real and deserve attention, they do not define who you are.
I understand that life's journey can include loss, disappointment, uncertainty, and unexpected transitions. Yet,.I believe these experiences can also reveal resilience, wisdom, and strengths that may have previously gone unrecognized. Our experiences help shape our stories, but they do not determine how the story ends.
Tired of feeling overwhelmed, stressed out or anxious? Do you find yourself overthinking or worrying about any and everything? Do you experience a rapid heart beat, sweaty palms, dry mouth and shaking? Feeling on edge, irritable or tense? All these things keep you from enjoying your life. They hold you back in your career or in relationships or other areas of life. You want to feel at ease and less stressed out. You want to go after what you want without second guessing yourself.
I help client's develop life-changing habits that allow them to cope with any of life’s various obstacles that provokes anxiety. During therapy sessions we will work together to identify goals and map out a plan to reach those goals. You'll receive tools that you can start using today and the validation and care that you deserve.
You will find a supportive, non judgmental, safe space to share. Contact me to schedule a free 15 minute phone consultation so I can answer any questions you have before we get started.

I’m Tiffany Settles, a licensed mental health counselor based in Florida, and I’m grateful you’re here. My journey in this field began in 2005 after earning my Bachelor of Science in Psychology. I started my career as a behavioral tech in an adolescent residential program, supporting teens facing moderate to severe mental health and behavioral challenges. That experience shaped my understanding of how deeply people desire to be seen, heard, and guided with genuine care. It also inspired me to move toward one-on-one work, complete my master’s in clinical psychology, and build a therapeutic practice rooted in connection and compassion.
