Hi, I'm Shelley Sims, LMFT.
I believe healing happens when people feel truly seen, understood, and accepted. My goal is to create a warm, supportive space where you can show up exactly as you are—without judgment or pressure to have everything figured out.
I work with adults, teens, and couples who are navigating anxiety, trauma, depression, relationship challenges, ADHD, OCD, burnout, life transitions, and low self-worth. Many of my clients have spent years putting everyone else first and are ready to reconnect with themselves, set healthier boundaries, and build lives that feel more peaceful and fulfilling.
My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to your unique needs. I draw from evidence-based therapies including EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Gottman Method, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and somatic, nervous system-informed techniques. Together, we'll identify unhelpful patterns, process painful experiences, and develop practical skills that create lasting change.
Whether you're healing from childhood wounds, working through relationship struggles, managing overwhelming emotions, or simply feeling stuck, you don't have to do it alone. I believe growth is possible at any stage of life, and I would be honored to walk alongside you as you rediscover your strengths and move toward the life you want.
Taking the first step can feel overwhelming, but you don't have to have it all figured out before reaching out. If you're ready to begin your healing journey, I'd love to help.
I’ve spent over 22 years as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, helping people just like you navigate life’s biggest challenges. I'm licensed in Texas, Utah, Arizona, and Nevada.
My personal belief is therapy is a space for growth, discovery, and healing. It’s a brave step, and I’m here to guide you.
Maybe you're tired of feeling anxious or depressed. Maybe you're working through a difficult loss or a past trauma. Whatever brings you here, we'll work together to find a path that feels right for you.
You will set the pace and the agenda of our sessions. One week we may work on day to day obstacles. The next week, we may work on past issues and traumas. It's YOUR TIME!
Hi, I’m Sarah Stewart, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and founder of Pelorus Point — a practice dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s transitions with clarity and confidence. I am licensed in Florida, Idaho, Utah, and North Dakota, and bring over 11 years of clinical experience working with adolescents, adults, and couples.
My background includes a Master’s in Counseling Psychology and ongoing doctoral studies in Psychology, where my research focuses on language, identity, and inclusive mental health practices. My approach to therapy is eclectic and collaborative, blending elements of psychodynamic, narrative, and mindfulness-based work to create a space that fits you rather than forcing you into a specific model.
I specialize in working with clients navigating ADHD, dissociative disorders, depression, anxiety, trauma, gender identity exploration, religious trauma, and relationship issues. My style is direct, grounded, and compassionate — I’m not afraid to challenge unhelpful patterns, but I always do so with respect and curiosity.
At Pelorus Point, my mission is simple: to help you find your true north — to better understand yourself, strengthen your relationships, and move toward a life that feels authentic and meaningful.
Wanting to get to the "why" of your and others behaviors and thinking can be a lifetime of healing. Have you ever wondered about why male and females are so different? I study that and have 7 brothers. I graduated from the U of U in social work. I know that my own journey in life and doing my own work can really help others do the same. One of my favorite work experiences was in drug and alcohol treatment. Your background does not define who you are. Having a safe place to be heard, understood and process is my intention. Feel free to cry and yell. I like to give resources that could be used now or they maybe helpful for the future. Let's find the joy together.
As a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I believe that understanding your mental health is key to stability in life. Seeking help can be one of the hardest parts, so I am glad you are here. I’ve been practicing for several years, and know truly enjoy working with individuals seeking insight, change, and growth.
If you are feeling overwhelmed by the weight of trauma, relationship fractures, or the pressure to constantly “get it right,” I want to provide a safe place to move towards being unstuck. I work with adults, couples, and families who are tired of performing and ready to heal. My space is a sanctuary from judgment, where you can bring your full, authentic self.
What often stands out to clients about my work is the emphasis on safety, validation, and shared humanity. You will have the space to share your concerns at your own pace, without fear of judgment or pressure to perform. Above all, our work together is a collaborative process in which your goals and voice guide the way.
Hi there, my name’s Ephraim and I'm a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with 20+ years of experience. My specialties consist of relationships, men’s issues, career counseling, and psychosomatic illnesses.
Whether it's individuals or couples, I'm happy to get to work with whomever comes my way. I do my best to facilitate a warm, trusting environment. I received my Bachelors degree in Child Psychology, working initially with the adolescent population before transitioning over to adults. I then received my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy. Looking forward to meeting with you soon!
I am a licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in Utah and Montana. I recently completed my PhD in Psychology at Walden University. I completed my Master's degree at Liberty University and worked in an outpatient substance abuse section for 6 years, then transitioned to the VA for a couple of years. I work with a trauma-informed mental health mindset, dedicated to supporting individuals and families struggling with anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship problems, and trauma. Utilizing evidence-based therapies such as EMDR, Gottman couples therapy, CBT, and DBT. I am available most weekdays.
Life can be a fulfilling and challenging journey. It is part of the human experience to need support at different times depending on our life stage or situation. Seeking support can be intimidating. I am committed to working collaboratively with clients to foster learning and growth, enabling you to live your best life.
Originally from Ohio, I moved to Utah in 2003 to provide therapeutic outdoor experiences to youth and families. I have spent much of my career working with adolescents and young adults after receiving my Master of Social Work from the University of Utah in 2008. As a LCSW, I think its valuable to utilize resources specific to an individual instead of resources specific to a therapist. With that, I primarily lean on the principles of DBT, ACT, CBT, MI, Seven Challenges, Narrative therapy and EMDR/Trauma informed approaches. I also have experience with substance use and problematic media and technology use. As a psychedelic-assisted therapist, I believe in set and setting as a foundation for growth.
I spend much of my free time outdoors and sleep better under the stars. I love the mountain and desert surroundings that Utah provides and can often be found boating, skiing, hiking, backpacking and traveling the western U.S. I am also a land steward in Cache Valley, raising a menagerie of animals and vegetables. I also enjoy cooking and listening to live music.
I provide a non Judgmental, positive environment for all populations I serve. I have a no nonsense, direct approach to therapy.
Hi Everyone! I’m Tiffany. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
In my practice, I support people who want to find more acceptance, wholeness, and aliveness in every area of their life. I often work with people who feel overwhelmed with self-criticism, doubt, sadness, anxiety, overwhelm, grief, and fear.
Struggling with depression, anxiety, self-doubt, or major life changes can feel overwhelming and isolating. Whether you're facing a difficult transition, working through past experiences, or feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve you, you don't have to navigate it alone.
I work with adults and young adults to manage anxiety, heal from trauma, strengthen self-esteem, and build greater confidence in themselves and their decisions. My approach is supportive, collaborative, and tailored to your unique needs, helping you identify both the challenges you face and the strengths you already possess.
Together, we’ll create a personalized plan for growth that is realistic, empowering, and grounded in your values and goals. My goal is to help you develop practical tools, build resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change so you can move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and self-compassion.
