I have over 10 years of experience in a wide variety of clinical settings since obtaining my Master's degree and becoming a licensed clinician. I use a client centered approach that draws from my training in cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, dialectical behavioral therapy, exposure and response prevention, and a trauma-informed approach. I have worked with people struggling with addictions, a wide variety of anxiety related difficulties, ADHD, depression, and some bodily focused repetitive behaviors. I also have experience working with couples to address relationship needs.

I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Virginia with extensive experience in residential substance use treatment, IOP/PHP, and outpatient therapy. I specialize in addiction, trauma, and co-occurring mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, and PTSD, bringing both clinical expertise and long-term personal recovery from addiction and trauma-related challenges to my work. I love to learn and help others so I continue to pursue advanced training in psychodrama, trauma-informed care, and evidenced-based approaches for substance use and trauma recovery. As a licensed counselor with over 10 years of experience, I have worked in a variety of different settings with those struggling with mental health and/or substance abuse issues. I graduated from Liberty University with a master's in counseling and practice as a licensed professional counselor as well as a licensed substance abuse treatment practitioner. I have worked in outpatient and inpatient settings.
