I am passionate about mental health care and have experience providing treatment for many conditions, including mood, attention, and thought disorders. Congratulations in taking the brave step of considering therapy. I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and I've worked with people from many diverse walks of life. I became a therapist a little later in life, my life experiences inform my practice, and I understand we all do the best we can with what we have. I’m here to partner with you on this journey.
You've already taken the first brave step in your journey to healing. My areas of specialization are life transitions, trauma, depression, and anxiety. I practice from a whole person perspective and am certified in ketamine assisted psychotherapy.
Hello! I’m Kambra, MS, LMHC.
I’ve worked in both private practice & integrated primary care, & have provided both traditional talk therapy & equine-assisted outdoor therapy (Natural Lifemanship).
WA is my lifelong home. I enjoy being outdoors (I have two mustangs, some chickens, & two dogs), leatherworking, working on my project car, & mountain biking.
Sometimes personal tragedy strikes and you need to talk. Often systemic oppression and microaggressions can cause depression, anxiety and PTSD. I believe that hope is an endurant quality that gets us through the hardest parts of our life. Counseling is about restoring hope and advocacy within the context of an apathetic society. I teach self advocacy skills and boundary setting. My overall approach is compassion focused. I believe that clients know what is in their best interest and I hope to assist you in reaching your goals. I am a Queer Transgender guy. To me, knowledge and insight are the keys to personal freedom. In my free time I enjoy reading and walks. I find personal healing in my connection to other people and to nature.
Dr. Strom was born and raised outside of Seattle, WA before she completed her Bachelors degrees in Psychology, Mathematics, and Philosophy at Hartwick College in Oneonta, NY. She first came to Florida for her graduate training at Florida Institute of Technology (FIT), where she earned her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Integrated Behavioral Healthcare. She has been a part of the Gulfshore Behavioral Health team since January 2023.
Outside of her professional work, Dr. Strom enjoys cooking, baking, sewing and other crafts, exploring new restaurants and local activities, practicing yoga, traveling when possible, and spending time with her dog and partner.
I am a licensed Mental Health Counselor ( LMHC) who provides warm, supportive space for individuals seeking growth and healing. I specialize in anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and relationship concerns, using evidence based approaches tailored to each client. My goal is to help clients feel understood, empowered, and confident as they work toward meaningful change.
I am a licensed independent clinical social worker and have provided therapy to individuals and families since 2018. Currently, I work with women aged 18-60 who need support with ADHD, trauma, sleep issues, anxiety, struggling with change, or a growing sense of disconnection.
Your Path to a More Fulfilling Life
I am an open-minded and nonjudgmental therapist dedicated to providing a truly safe place for everyone. With over 17 years of experience as a mental health counselor, I welcome all individuals and am experienced in supporting those with alternative lifestyles and unique situations.
Tailored, Collaborative Therapy
Specializing in Intimacy and Relationships
With a particular interest in sexual dysfunction and intimate relationship problems, I accept you exactly as you are, offering unconditional positive regard throughout your therapeutic journey.
In my therapeutic practice I seek to motivate clients to build the brain they want rather than feeling stuck with the one they have. By harnessing the power of cognitive restructuring, we can excel at tackling complex issues like dealing with stress, managing emotions, changing habits, controlling impulses and navigating complicated relationships in the same way that we would get better at any other skill; through dedication and practice!

Headway makes it easy to find support for your mental health — from finding the right provider, to understanding costs, to scheduling with ease.
Finding the right therapist in Washington starts with getting clear on what you're looking for. Whether you're seeking support for anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, or another challenge, look for a licensed provider — such as an LMHC, LICSW, LMFT, or psychologist — who has experience with your specific needs. Reading a provider's bio can give you a sense of their style and approach before you reach out.
Washington is a large state, and access to mental health care can vary depending on where you live. Virtual therapy makes it possible to connect with a licensed provider from anywhere in the state, whether you're in downtown Seattle or a more rural area. Many providers on Headway offer both in-person and virtual sessions, so you can choose what works best for your schedule and location.
Therapy in Washington can be costly out of pocket, but using your in-network insurance benefits is one of the most straightforward ways to reduce what you pay per session. On Headway, you can enter your insurance details to see estimated costs before you book. Nationally, Headway partners with over 100 insurance plans, and your out-of-pocket cost may be as low as $0 per session — though costs vary based on your specific plan and location.
