You're striving to come across like you've got it all together, and maybe in some ways you do, but inside you don't feel confidence in yourself, and you struggle with keeping the past in the past. You may be fed up with the overthinking and the second-guessing, or the constant knot in your stomach. You might not even remember a time things didn’t feel this way. But one thing is for sure: you’re ready for some relief. You’re ready to start feeling safe and secure with yourself. You’re ready to trust your inner voice and love yourself. Most of all, you’re ready to become your own best friend.
I work primarily with adults navigating anxiety and depression, trauma, and body-related concerns. Having personally experienced body issues and significant health diagnoses over the past 30 years, I believe our mental health is inseparable from the bodies we live in. I believe the mind and body are deeply interconnected and that healing happens when we honor both. My practice is integrative, compassionate, and rooted in honoring each person's unique path to wellness, and I welcome all genders, identities, and lived experiences. I am a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner with a background in Anthropology. I have completed fellowship in Integrative Reproductive Mental Healthcare. Currently, I am pursuing advanced fellowship training in Nutritional Psychiatry and Ketamine Therapy. I have also trained in Gender-Affirming Care and am passionate about providing safe inclusive spaces for all.
I'm licensed in AZ , ID, and WA. I expect that the work we do in session will translate into your everyday life outside of session. I hold my clients with high regard and expect them to do the work toward recovery. Those who I accept as my clients have a strong desire to get themselves together will do great work toward recovery. The the goal is short term care for long term gain.
I provide psychiatric care in a way that is warm, open-minded, and empowering. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable being honest about what is going on, whether you are dealing with anxiety, ADHD, stress, postpartum or maternal mental health concerns, depression, trauma, sleep issues, OCD, eating concerns, or women’s mental health challenges.
I know reaching out for support can feel overwhelming, especially when you are already carrying a lot. I work collaboratively with clients to help them better understand what they are experiencing, identify what is getting in the way, and build a plan that feels realistic, supportive, and aligned with their goals. I want clients to feel heard, respected, and actively involved in their care every step of the way.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, I bring over 11 years of hands-on experience working alongside first responders and providing crisis intervention in hospital settings, including conducting evaluations in inpatient care. For the past five years, I’ve also successfully managed my own private practice, giving me a well-rounded perspective on both acute and ongoing mental health support. As a former athlete, I understand discipline, resilience, and the importance of mindset, and I’m passionate about helping people tap into their inner strength to find peace, balance, and success in their lives.

Headway helps you find expert-guided support for every stage of motherhood — from finding the right therapist or psychiatrist, to understanding costs, to scheduling with ease.
Finding the right postpartum therapist in Gilbert starts with identifying what kind of support you need. Postpartum depression, anxiety, and other perinatal mood changes are common — and a provider who specializes in perinatal mental health can make a meaningful difference. Look for a licensed therapist, counselor, or psychiatrist with experience in postpartum care. Some providers hold a Perinatal Mental Health Certification (PMH-C), which signals additional training in this area.
Gilbert is part of the broader East Valley, and many providers also serve nearby communities like Mesa, Chandler, and Queen Creek — with both in-person and virtual appointments available. When comparing providers, consider what matters most to you: their therapeutic approach, availability, whether they offer medication management, and how comfortable you feel after reading their bio or speaking with them directly.
Postpartum therapy in the Gilbert area can be expensive out of pocket, but using in-network insurance coverage is one of the most reliable ways to reduce your costs. On Headway, you can enter your insurance details to see estimated session costs before you book. Nationally, Headway partners with over 100 insurance plans, and many patients pay as low as $0 per visit — making it easier to prioritize your mental health during an already demanding time.
