I have been in the mental health field for almost 10 years. I spent two years as a case manager for kids 6-17. I completed my internship and practicum at a rehab facility that worked with everything from trauma, substance use to mood disorders. I work in the prison system for three years, two of which I was a substance abuse counselor. I have been running my own practice for just over two years now. I have a lot of experience working with a wide range of clients.
I enjoy come along side people in their journey to live up to their highest potential! I believe that every person is created unique and has a purpose! I have a background in substance abuse counseling and mental health giving me a unique perspective in co-occurring conditions. I do general mental health, but am also certified in ADHD and Christian Counseling.
Ezinne Iroku is licensed in Family Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, has a second Master's degree and license in Family Nurse Practitioner. Something keeps pulling you back into the same patterns, the anxiety that returns no matter how much you manage it, the grief that hasn't had room to land, or the relationship dynamic you've tried to change but can't quite shift. I work with women navigating anxiety, grief, trauma, and relationship challenges, helping them understand what's driving those patterns and how to start making choices that come from the inside out. My approach pays attention to the whole person, including what your body is telling you, not just what your mind is saying. Clients often describe me as someone who helps them understand themselves in ways they hadn't expected.
