My passion for psychology comes from a place of wanting to listen, understand and empower change. As we build a trusting relationship my approach is collaborative and proactive. My career has led me to work in primary mental health, addiction treatment, and working with various diagnoses and a widely diverse population including marginalized individuals, unhoused, sexual assault victims, former military, American Indians, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community.

I hold a Masters in Marriage, Family, Child Counseling from San Francisco State University. Taking the courageous step to care for your mental health is the foundation for overcoming life’s challenges. As a skilled and dedicated therapist, I will guide you in unlocking your inner strengths and building the tools you need to create a fulfilling and balanced life. I am especially passionate about working with individuals who are managing anxiety and depression, feelings of low self- worth, relationship difficulties, and impulsive behaviors. I received a BS from Boston University, and a MS in Counseling from California State University, Northridge, graduating with honors.

My work is grounded in behavioral therapy, and a firm belief that people can change. I prefer a flexible and collaborative approach that evolves as we work together. Though the foundation of my work is behavioral, I develop integrated treatment plans for each new client, drawing on other evidence-based modalities and new research.
