I'm Caitlin! Therapist, art therapist, and someone who knows what it's like to carry a lot. Anxiety, self-doubt, patterns inherited from people who came before you, a creative inner world that doesn't always fit neatly into everyday life. I didn't just study this, I've lived it.
I’m a licensed therapist dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with greater clarity and confidence. I know that reaching out for help isn’t always easy—so just by being here, you’ve already taken an important and courageous first step. Over the years, my work has increasingly centered around supporting young women and teens (ages 15–25) who are experiencing anxiety, depression, or feeling overwhelmed by life transitions.

My education, and various professional experience in child welfare and addiction recovery have driven my passion for working with children, adolescents, and adults as it relates to trauma, attachment, and relationship issues. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over two decades of clinical experience. My work has focused on helping people understand themselves more deeply, strengthen relationships, heal from difficult experiences, and create meaningful change in their lives.
I believe lasting change happens when we move beyond simply understanding a problem intellectually and begin experiencing ourselves differently. Together, we explore patterns, emotional and bod responses, beliefs, and relationship dynamics that may have developed as adaptations earlier in life but are no longer serving you.
Clients often describe me as warm, direct, engaged, and insightful. I tend to be an active therapist who asks questions, offers observations, and helps connect patterns that may be difficult to see from the inside. While therapy can be challenging, I believe it should also feel collaborative, practical, and grounded in hope.

Sometimes that looks like anxiety that’s getting harder to manage, feeling stuck in the same patterns, or navigating changes in relationships, identity, or life direction. Other times it’s grief, stress, or a sense that something just isn’t working the way it used to.
You might find yourself overthinking, shutting down, or reacting in ways that don’t quite make sense, even to you. You may understand things logically, but still feel stuck emotionally.
My background is in clinical mental health counseling, and my work is grounded in approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). I also have advanced training in working with relationship dynamics, which often show up even in individual therapy.
Before becoming a therapist, I worked as a journalist. That still shapes how I work today. I pay close attention, listen for patterns, and help you make sense of your story in a way that feels clear, grounded, and meaningful.
