Hello, I'm Carolyn, and I'm here to help! I am here to assist with lifestyle, anxiety, and sleep-related issues, offering a personalized and non-judgmental approach to support your personal growth and overall well-being.
Hello, and welcome. My name is Dionne Fontenelle, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with experience helping individuals navigate mental health challenges, substance use concerns, trauma, relationship difficulties, and life transitions. I hold a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from North Central University and bring over 17 years of clinical experience from my previous career as a Speech-Language Pathologist, where I specialized in assessment, treatment planning, and collaborative care.
My name is Melyssa Rivera-Lopez; a Forensic Licensed Clinician who graduated with high honors from Barry University. I have 20 + years of experience working in the field. Responsibilities include delivering evidence-based treatment options, assessments, diagnosis, recommendations pertaining to mental health status, and serving as an expert witness. Other functions include policy and program development, mediation, advocacy, and behavioral science research.
With over 30 years of experience working with individuals, couples, and families, I specialize in supporting people navigating LGBTQ+ identity, relationships, and the coming out process. Whether you're stepping into your identity for the first time, rebuilding after a difficult transition, or managing the stress and relationship challenges that come with trying to balance everything, you deserve a therapist who truly gets it. I bring warmth, directness, and a genuine investment in helping you feel more like yourself.
My journey began as a deeply personal quest for healing, shaped by significant challenges such as abandonment, neglect, and trauma. Overcoming hardships like poverty, familial substance abuse, and toxic relationships led me to a lifelong struggle with anxiety and feelings of isolation. In my search for relief, I explored countless self-help resources, pursued degrees in psychology, and experimented with therapeutic techniques, yet nothing seemed to offer lasting change.
Everything shifted for me about three years ago when I experienced a transformative moment that inspired the creation of the Blue Lotus Approach. This method has not only helped me heal but has also profoundly impacted my clients, guiding them toward self-awareness and resilience.
Life can change in an instant. Whether you’re navigating grief, anxiety, caregiver stress, burnout, a medical diagnosis, or a major life transition, you don’t have to face it alone. With experience in pediatric hospital social work, clinical leadership, and many other areas, I’ve supported individuals and families through some of life’s most difficult moments. I’m passionate about helping people move from simply surviving to truly living again.
If you’re looking for someone who will simply nod along, I may not be the right fit, and that’s okay. I believe growth comes from feeling both supported and challenged. I’ll listen with compassion, celebrate your strengths, and gently encourage you to face the patterns that may be keeping you stuck. My goal is for you to leave each session feeling heard, empowered, and one step closer to the life you want.
Welcome to the first step to your healing journey!
Therapy isn’t about “fixing” you—it’s about coming home to yourself. If you’re ready to feel more grounded, more seen, and more aligned with who you really are, I’d be honored to walk that path with you.
I am passionate about helping people find clarity, healing, and a deeper connection to themselves. I work with adults and older adults navigating challenges like anxiety, depression, trauma, identity exploration, and life transitions—and I offer a space where you don’t have to hold it all alone. I was drawn to this work because of my own journey. Growing up, I often found myself holding space for others—listening deeply, asking questions, and offering comfort. Over time, I realized that being present with people in their pain, and witnessing their growth, was not just something I cared about—it was something I was meant to do. That sense of purpose continues to guide me today.
I have 29 years of experience providing mental health services to individuals, couples, groups with diverse populations including community mental health, the school system, and military families. I graduated with a BA in Psychology from University of Southern Mississippi. I then obtained the Master of Science degree in Counseling from Troy State University.
I specialize in the areas of depression, anxiety, and stress as well as personal growth goals.
I am dedicated to creating a compassionate and client-centered approach utilizing solution-focused and strength- based treatment. I also utilize cognitive behavioral therapy to help understand our thoughts and behaviors.
Hi I am Dr. Tricia Rampersad. I earned my BA in Communications & Journalism at Fairleigh Dickinson University, MA in Counseling Psychology at NJ City University, and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (PsyD) at California Southern University.
I have over 15 + of experience treating adults with depression, OCD, and anxiety disorders. I also enjoy working with LGBTQIA+ communities.
Training: Berkeley CBT Clinic, NJ Medical Center, Alameda Health System.
I graduated with honors from National Louis University with my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I received a bachelor’s degree in Special Education in 2013 from Walsh University in Ohio. I taught children with varying exceptionalities and learning differences for five years. I have over ten years of experience working with children and adults with autism, ADHD, and various learning disabilities.
I utilize interventions of various approaches to best assist my clients in accomplishing their individual goals. These approaches include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness Based Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy and Narrative Therapy. I am also a certified yoga teacher.
Making the decision to start therapy is a profound investment of your time, energy, and vulnerability. If you are looking for a blank-slate clinician who simply nods and listens, we might not be the best fit. I offer a highly engaged, malleable, and unflinching partnership.
My approach is rooted in the belief that while the work of untangling our lives is deeply structural, the room itself doesn't always have to feel heavy. I bring a grounded warmth to my practice—which means knowing how to sit quietly in the gravity of a difficult truth, but also knowing when to break the tension, exhale, and find the light in the sheer complexity of being human. I won’t just sit in silence while you do all the heavy lifting; I am an active collaborator who adapts to exactly where you are.
If you're an adolescent or adult carrying anxiety, depression, trauma, or the kind of exhaustion that comes from navigating life on your own for too long, therapy with me is meant to feel calm, unhurried, and genuinely supportive. I work with teens and adults facing relationship struggles, self-esteem challenges, life transitions, emotional dysregulation, and stress that's hard to shake. I also support parents of children and young adults with ADHD or autism-related needs, and I have experience working with individuals and families facing complex mental health and substance use challenges. My background spans community mental health, crisis stabilization, outpatient care, and hospital settings, so I've sat with a wide range of what people go through.
For over 20 years, I have had the privilege of sitting with people through some of life's hardest moments: depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, and the pain of racism and loss. My goal is to build a real connection with you, so you never feel alone in figuring this out. I'm here to support you on your journey of self-exploration and personal growth.
