Welcome. I’m Jessica Wilkins, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker dedicated to supporting your truth, your story, and your growth. Since 2012, I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, PTSD, and other life challenges. My mission is to reduce the stigma around mental health and expand access to compassionate, meaningful care.
Hi, I'm glad you're here. Reaching out for support isn't always easy, and I'm honored you're considering taking that step. I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, substance use, and life's many challenges and transitions. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or simply exhausted from carrying too much on your own, therapy can provide a space to slow down, process what's happening, and begin moving forward. My goal is to help you gain insight, develop practical coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change while feeling supported every step of the way.
I have over 20 years of counseling experience. I enjoy meeting people where they are to assist with life's ups and downs. I specialize in trauma, anxiety, depression, and couples.
My commitment to you is simple: I will listen carefully, communicate openly, and act with integrity in every interaction. I’ll take the time to understand your unique goals, challenges, and values, and I’ll tailor my approach to meet your needs rather than offering one-size-fits-all solutions. You can expect transparency from me at every step. I’ll explain not only what I recommend, but why I recommend it, so you always feel informed and empowered to make decisions.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who graduated from Loyola University Chicago's School of Social Work (Master of Social Work). I have 10+ years in the mental health field and I have worked with multiple populations throughout the years. I gained special interest in mental health after working with pregnant women and adolescents. I became passionate about working with women and oppressed populations after working in multiple medical settings. I am committed to reducing mental health stigma through education and conversations addressing mental illness and holism. I enjoy helping others achieve their goals and I feel passionate about working with women, caregivers, oppressed populations, as well as the maternal health population. I have a person-centered approach, which allows me to collaborate with the client as a member of their team on their pursuit of optimal wellness. Although I am a licensed qualified mental health professional, I identify myself as a guide who collaborates with her clients in order to help lead them to healing and restoration. I believe that every person has the power to choose healing !
If you're dealing with anxiety that won't let up, a life change that's left you off-balance, or relationship tension that keeps getting in the way — I can help. After 10 years as a school social worker in St. Louis, I know what it looks like when people are overwhelmed, and what it actually takes to move through it. Today I work with adults navigating similar territory: the pressure that builds quietly, the transitions that feel harder than expected, the moments in relationships that leave you stuck. My focus is on making therapy practical, grounded, and worth your time.
First of all, I am NOT your typical psychotherapist.
I'm pretty casual. I wear jeans and the occasional t-shirt to the office. Makeup went out the window when Covid hit. I have a dry sense of humor and sarcasm is my second language.
I like to sprinkle "f*ck" into my everyday vocab like little bits of colorful confetti. Feel free to add to the fun.
Hello!
I proudly bring lived experience to the table, so I know a different life than comes in textbooks. It increases my odds of understanding you better and of having a plan. I wanted to work in the field of social work since age 5. And now I'm here to do just that.
Hope to see you soon.
