In my time working with patients, I have noticed two common denominators. Suffering and change. We all suffer in our own way. Wants we cannot have. Love that is unreciprocated. Thoughts that won’t leave us alone. These things are the inherent challenges of life. The magnitude of our suffering is matched only by the capacity we have for change. To change our mood. To change our way of thinking. To change the way we interact with others. To change the way we interact with ourselves. No matter the change, it starts with knowing it is possible and identifying the first step needed. Reach out today and we will take that first step.
I have experience working with individuals with anxiety, depression, trauma, personality disorders, relationship issues, and many other concerns. Using an eclectic style of therapy, I pull from different approaches to meet the needs and goals of each person. Underlying any approach is a culturally competent foundation of empathetic support.
In session, you will have a safe place to process and learn how to cope with what is happening outside of session. You will be supported unconditionally. Together, we will work to better understand the changes that are needed to be the best version of yourself.

Headway makes it easy to find support for your mental health — from finding the right provider, to understanding costs, to scheduling with ease.
Finding the right therapist in Orchard Park starts with getting clear on what you're looking for. Consider the concerns you want to address — such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, relationship challenges, or trauma — and look for a licensed provider who specializes in that area. Common credentials include LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, and psychologist. If you need medication management, a psychiatrist or psychiatric nurse practitioner may be the right fit.
Because Orchard Park is a smaller community within the Buffalo metro, you may find a wider selection of providers by including nearby areas like West Seneca, Hamburg, and Cheektowaga in your search. Many providers also offer virtual sessions, which means you can connect with a licensed therapist anywhere in New York State from home. Reading a provider's bio before booking can help you understand their approach, style, and areas of focus so you feel confident about the match.
Therapy in the Buffalo area can be expensive without coverage, but using in-network insurance is one of the most reliable ways to keep costs manageable. On Headway, you can enter your insurance details to see estimated session costs before you book — and many patients pay as low as $0 per visit. Nationally, Headway partners with over 100 insurance plans, making it easier to find a provider who fits both your clinical needs and your budget.
