Clients often tell me they appreciate my calm, thoughtful, and non-judgmental presence. I work collaboratively and at a reflective pace, creating a space where you can explore emotions and creativity without pressure to perform or “get it right.” Music is always an invitation, not a requirement. My goal is to help you feel understood, supported, and more connected to yourself.
After graduating with my masters from Barry University in Miami, Fl, I moved to New York where I have been practicing for the past few years. I am a trauma-informed therapist who works with adults of all ages and stages to help reduce their mental health concerns. I work primarily with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, and have a history of trauma. My goal is for my clients to work through their challenges, heal their trauma, and live their best lives.

Headway makes it easy to find support for your mental health — from finding the right provider, to understanding costs, to scheduling with ease.
Finding the right therapist in New York starts with getting clear on the type of support you need. Whether you're looking for help with anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, or a major life transition, choosing a licensed provider who specializes in your area of concern can make a meaningful difference. Common provider types in New York include licensed mental health counselors (LMHCs), licensed clinical social workers (LCSWs), psychologists, and psychiatrists — each with different training and areas of focus.
New York has one of the largest concentrations of mental health providers in the country, which can make narrowing your options feel overwhelming. Consider what matters most to you: a provider's specialty, whether they offer in-person or virtual sessions, their location relative to your neighborhood or commute, and their availability. Reading a provider's bio before booking can help you understand their style and approach so you feel more confident going in.
Therapy in New York can be expensive out of pocket, but using your in-network insurance benefits is one of the most reliable ways to reduce costs. On Headway, you can enter your insurance information to see which providers are covered and get an estimated session cost before you book. Nationally, Headway partners with over 100 insurance plans, and many patients pay as low as $0 per visit depending on their plan and location.
