Allison L Schulte, LSCSW, is a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker who offers therapeutic services to adults, adolescents, and children experiencing depression, anxiety, cognitive impairments such as Dementia and Alzheimer’s disease, personality disorders, grief and loss, significant stress, relationship difficulties, and other social or emotional concerns. She holds both undergraduate and master’s degrees in social work from Wichita State University.
I earned both my Bachelor of Science in Social Work and Master of Social Work from The Ohio State University. My background includes experience in university disability services as well as several years working closely with children and families in foster and adoptive care. Since transitioning into outpatient therapy, I’ve focused on providing thoughtful, accessible mental health care that meets clients where they are.
I work with children and adolescents (ages 11+), adults, couples, and families navigating concerns such as ADHD, behavioral challenges, anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship or family stress. My experience in foster and adoptive care gives me a strong foundation in attachment, identity, and family systems, allowing me to support both individuals and families in meaningful ways.
I created Growing with Grace Counseling Services to serve the community as a loving, inclusive, & accepting space for all. I have been a therapist for 8 years and have seen patients thrown around to different providers, feeling unheard, stuck, & lost. My goal is to create a space where patients know they will be treated with true care. It's a place where I am just as excited to watch you grow as you are, and you and I will be partners in this journey.
I'm originally from New York City I've had personal and professional relationships with all cultures I believe for a therapist to help a client he must use love
I work with adults who feel emotionally overwhelmed, stuck in patterns of anxiety or disconnection, or who are carrying more than they feel able to hold alone. Many of my clients are high-functioning on the outside but internally exhausted, navigating relationship stress, past trauma, or a sense that they are constantly “pushing through” without enough support.
Therapy with me is a space to slow down, make sense of what’s happening beneath the surface, and begin building a steadier internal sense of safety and clarity.

Searching for couples therapists in Cincinnati starts with naming what you and your partner want to work on. Couples therapy, couples counseling, marriage counseling, and relationship counseling may support concerns like communication patterns, recurring conflict, trust after infidelity, major life changes, and parenting disagreements. As you compare Cincinnati marriage counselors, look for therapists with training that matches your needs. Licensed marriage and family therapists, as well as therapists trained in the Gottman Method or emotionally focused therapy, may be strong fits for relationship-focused care.
In a mid-size market like Cincinnati, you may find local therapists with offices near areas like downtown, Clifton, Hyde Park, or surrounding neighborhoods, along with virtual options across Ohio. The right match also needs to work for both partners’ schedules, preferences, and goals. Review appointment availability, session format, therapy approach, and whether a therapist offers a brief phone consultation. Reading bios can help you see how each therapist describes their work with couples and what a first session may look like.
Couples therapy in Cincinnati can be a significant investment without insurance. Using in-network insurance is one of the most reliable ways to reduce session costs. Headway helps you compare therapists who are accepting new patients, review detailed profiles, check whether your plan is accepted, and see estimated out-of-pocket costs before booking. From there, you can browse couples therapy in Cincinnati, Ohio, review bios, and book directly when you’re ready.
If you're experiencing or worried about violence, threats, or coercion in your relationship, couples therapy isn't usually the right starting point — individual support is safer. The National Domestic Violence Hotline (1-800-799-7233, or text START to 88788\) can help you think through next steps.
