Grief doesn't follow a timeline, and neither does Headway's approach. Hillsboro residents can access therapy for coping with death, processing complicated grief, or rebuilding after losing a family member, friend, or partner. Our 738 licensed providers offer flexible scheduling with sessions as soon as next day, and many are covered by insurance to reduce out-of-pocket costs.
I specialize in trauma therapy for adults, with extensive experience supporting survivors of sexual violence and other traumatic experiences. If you’ve been through something overwhelming, it can feel like a fog has settled over you, affecting every part of your life. You might find yourself overthinking, being on edge, shutting down, or feeling numb, even when you want to feel present and connected. Many people I work with feel stuck in this space and are unsure how to move forward. Together, we’ll work to understand and process your emotions, thoughts, and past experiences so they no longer hold the same power over you.
I work with adults from all backgrounds and experiences. I will help you achieve your goals, reduce symptoms, and develop the life you envision.
Hello! I'm glad you made it here! My aim is to support and empower you to reach your goals. I am here to provide you with ideas, insight and education as we work together collaboratively. I am happy to include anyone else you wish in your treatment plan. My approach is centered on a holistic, whole-person perspective.
As for me, I have two bachelor's degrees - one in psychology and the other in nursing. I completed graduate school as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I have served people in my local outpatient community, inpatient (medical as well as psychiatric), in the state hospital, intensive outpatient programs, and more. I am also happy and very comfortable working alongside people with developmental disabilities, those on the neurodivergent spectrum, and those that are a part of the LGBTQ+ community.
I”m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience supporting individuals, caregivers, and families through life’s emotional challenges.
I help clients who are struggling with caregiver stress and burnout, anxiety and emotional overwhelm, difficulty setting healthy boundaries, parenting stress (including raising children with autism), and healing from childhood experiences that continue to impact adult life and relationships
I have worked with clients and their families in various capacities for the past 12 years. I have found that I love helping people heal from past traumas and overcome whatever is holding them back. Through my training, I have found that the brain and body have incredible healing mechanisms hardwired into them. I am honored to be able to help others unlock those healing aspects and to help people enjoy their lives more fully. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Religious Studies and later completed my Master of Arts in Counseling at Multnomah University in Portland, Oregon. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Oregon and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Washington.
With over a decade of experience as a licensed clinical social worker, I specialize in helping individuals navigate anxiety, depression, work-life balance, and women’s issues. While I offer a supportive and empathetic space, I also believe in gently challenging clients to promote growth. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck in old patterns, or simply need a space to process, I’m here to help you reconnect with your strengths and move toward the life you want to live.
